Precision Auto Repair Centers

This is the best auto repair I've been to, and I've been to a few-- Precision Auto Repairs on E Main St Stamford replaced the front axel and CV boots, and replaced the universal drive shaft of my car. At first, I brought my car just for brake replacement, but they did extra inspection and found other significant issues. Chris and the mechanics are fantastic -- truly knowledgeable, experience and dedicated, careful and paying attention to details. They also work fast, finishing even large jobs within a day or 1-2 days! The front office staff is prompt and responsive. Prices are standard if not good. My car actually runs better now than when I first bought it nearly 2 decades ago! It is smoother, lighter, and no longer makes worrying sounds. I trust this center with my car and recommend them to anyone.

Great customer service!! within minutes of arriving and explaining the concerns I had with my car it was taken out to drive and the quote was sent to me within the hour and work began immediately! And was ready in days!! It was a pleasure to interact with Tony such great energy, being the early bird that I am it is rare for me to encounter great moods at an early time needless to say very refreshing not to mention my car is running smoother then it did off the lot. 100% recommend !

Was charged excessively to change one hose. Appreciate getting me in the same day but very disappointed with the price. I even asked if the ‘diagnostic fee’ would be used towards the repair BEFORE I went there and was told, “ yes”. However, when asked while there I was told, ‘no’. Not good business

Driving home to MA from NYC. The engine of my car was malfunctioning and I had to get off the highway. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon when this happened. I called my mechanic over the phone he said it probably was a coil issue. He said it was also either going to be a quick fix if it was one of the coils that were easy to get to or would require dissembling part of the engine. I called the dealer in Stamford and they said_possibly_that they could get to it tomorrow (Friday). As I approached the dealership I saw Precision Auto and looked them up. The reviews were so positive I decided to give them a try. It was after 4 o’clock and they got it right in, confirmed it was a coil and replaced it as it was one of the easily accessible ones. They stayed a bit after closing but I got back on the road and home that evening. I could’ve been completely taken advantage of but these guys are legit. If I lived in or near Stamford I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Super grateful. Great conversations while I waited too. Thanks guys!
