Peterson Repair

Tim Peterson has been repairing my Hondas since I arrived in Simi Valley in 1994. Throughout these 20 years, Tim has helped me keep my vehicles in top shape. He stays on top of the basic maintenance. He alerts me to potential service and repair needs. He gives me the options and lets me choose without pressure. His work has been dependable and his prices fair. One of the reasons I keep buying Hondas is because I have Tim as a mechanic. I recommend him wholeheartedly and without reservation.

Tim Peterson has been my Honda mechanic for over 20 years, HE IS WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD. I trust no one else except Peterson Repair for the care of my Hondas. In fact, as long as Peterson Repair exists, I will buy no other brand of car. Tim does honest work, and never pushes to have procedures done which aren’t necessary or yet due. His prices are extremely fair, and his estimates are right on the money. As a woman, I appreciate the respect with which he speaks to me. He speaks in a very calm manner, patiently explains and shows me why a certain part needs to be replaced. When he sees some wear on another part, he will tell me that it will need to be replaced at the next service, but that there is still some mileage to be had on it. He keeps an eye on the tires, even though he doesn’t sell tires, and tells me when he sees too much wear. You will never find a better man to take care of your Honda!

My family has two Hondas and an Acura and Peterson has seen them all. He knows exactly what to do and recommend for a fair rate. I'd trust him with any car.

Ladies don’t go alone or be prepared to be gaslighted by a sexist man who will talk to you like you are stupid and ask if you have a man (husband, boyfriend, etc.) around to help explain things to you! 4 minutes into our conversation post-diagnostic and I was ready to take my business elsewhere. I recorded our conversation in order to remember all the details he shared and listening to it again still makes my blood boil! Go anywhere else!
