Penn Muffler & Brake

IDK about people writing how friendly this place is. 1st time going to this place banking on most of the + reviews from Google. 1st one in the door, and last to come out. It took almost 3 hours to take out a broken manifold flange bolt, and install new ones. Open by 8am, but techs don't actually start working on your car til around 9. I waited, and saw what was going on. My car was sitting on the ground for almost 20 min. , and finally had to ask what was going on with it, as the tech who was working on it already pulled another vehicle into another svc bay. And to top it off, tech parked my car, and handed the key to the receptionist, and told her that my check engine light was on. Before write up, I told the shop foreman that there was no CEL on the car. So, I asked the receptionist what the CEL is for, and she was snotty about it. I then demanded to talk to a shop foreman, and he explained to me that the tech forgot to reconnect the 02 sensor elec connectors back. NO one in this shop even said SORRY for the unnecessary delay of about 30 min.. I then went home, and ramped up the car to check. Lo, and behold, the tech did not even put back the wirings on the 02 sensors to its clip holders, and the back one had wires twisted. 1st impression last a long time, and I prolly be won't be coming back to this shop anymore, nor recommend it to friends, and family.

This place is great! I dropped my car off early in the morning. They were pulling it in before my ride even got there, and were calling me with the issues within the hour. It was finished by noon. The staff was super friendly and showed me pictures of what had to be repaired. Great people, great service! I definitely recommend this Penn Muffler & Brake!

Received a quote from Midas for well over $1000 to replace a muffler. Parts alone were over $500. Decided to look elsewhere for another quote and found these guys who actually specialize in it. Instead of having to replace the whole thing, they told me they could cut out and replace a part that was the issue. Instead of paying over $1000, I only had to pay under $190. Also was in and out in under 1.5 hours without an appointment. Needless to say this was a great first experience with them and would recommend anyone to go there for their muffler/brake needs.

Went here for free estimate, which is almost unheard of from any auto repair shop, but they bring you in to show you, and the price was also great, I would recommend this place anytime
