Easy-going , honest, local mechanics . They were super cordial and friendly and I felt immediately comfortable with them. I did my research on the price of what was needed to be done and they were right in line with the amount. Fast, efficient, quality work. They even complimented how nice my 18 year old Subaru looked and gave me some great tips on how to keep it running for the long haul. Grateful to know they are just a mile up the road in Fairfield from my apartment in Black Rock.

My brand new tire got a large screw in it, and none of the tire shops (Town Fair, Goodyear, Fetzer, Firestone) would plug it because it was on the edge of the tread and they wanted to sell me a new tire. So I went to Bobby at Penfield Service Center and he was incredibly friendly, stopped what he was doing to plug the tire, and didn't charge me a dime. Hands down the best experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop. I will be taking my car there for service from now on. Thank you Bobby!

For those looking for an honest mechanic who applies excellent workmanship in Fairfield County, look no further than Penfield Service Center. Since 2016, I have brought my cars there to be repaired and every service appointment has been exceptional. Mike and Bob are also great advisors if you are unsure what specific services your vehicle needs. Finding an honest mechanic who does quality work is near impossible these days but I can confidently say that Penfield Service Center delivers above and beyond those expectations.

My son was driving from NJ to Cape Cod last night when his check engine light went on and a message about his battery. As he was driving on the highway (near Fairfield, CT) he started to lose his lights, radio, dashboard. He stayed overnight in Fairfield and went to Penfield Service first thing this morning. Bob couldn't have been kinder or more honest. He prioritized him as he knew he needed to get back on the road, didn't charge him a dime, and showed him what to do if it happened again. It's really nice to know there are still honest and trustworthy people out in this world and I'm so thankful to Bob and Penfield Service Center. There is a reason he comes highly recommended!!
