However, it is crucial to objectively present all available customer feedback, as it sheds light on reported operational practices and customer satisfaction. The provided customer reviews highlight significant concerns:

  • P

"These guys have no idea what they are doing. Brought a pristine wheel to get mounted and balanced and left with 4 gouges in the wheel. When I pointed it out everyone played dumb. Don’t waste your time here." This review raises serious concerns about the quality of workmanship, the potential for damage to customer property during service, and the alleged lack of accountability from staff when issues are raised.

  • P

"I drove over and asked how much it would be to replace my front two tires and replace them. I can bring in my own tires. The guy told me $55 for both front tires. I drove back a few days later with the tires and a different guy wants $60 a tire. Absolute garbage scam artists. Avoid dishonest people & business." This feedback points to significant issues with pricing transparency and consistency, suggesting that initial quotes may not be honored, leading to customer frustration and a perception of dishonesty.

These reviews collectively suggest areas where customer experience may deviate from expectations, particularly regarding the careful handling of vehicles, the consistency of pricing, and the honesty of business practices. For prospective customers, these points indicate the importance of verifying services, obtaining written quotes, and thoroughly inspecting their vehicle before leaving the premises.

Tire shops often engage in various promotional activities to attract and retain customers, which typically include:

  • P

Package Deals: Bundling services like tire mounting and balancing with a discounted rate.

  • P

Online Coupons or Flyers: Sometimes available through local advertising or direct mail.

Given the negative customer feedback regarding pricing discrepancies and service quality, any promotional claims would need to be carefully verified by potential customers. In conclusion, PAYLESS TIRES SHOP functions as an "Auto Repair Station" in Brooklyn, specializing in tire-related services such as mounting, balancing, and potentially sales. For individuals considering their services, exercising caution, seeking clear upfront communication, and thoroughly inspecting services rendered are recommended steps.

I had a slow leak on one of my tires. It was flat in the morning so I filled it with air and found the closest place open on a Sunday morning. I thought the tire would need replacing because it was pretty old anyway. But, I trusted the “experts” at the tire place who said it was fine and they patched it for $20. I was happy thinking that I saved money on a new tire and it was fixed. Next day low tire pressure came on so I took it somewhere else and it went from 32 psi to 22 psi. The new place said that the tire has low tread and it’s best to just replace it. Which I was totally fine with I just wish I was told that in the first place instead of paying $20 and then $140 on a good quality, new tire. The workers at payless were pretty friendly which is why i’m giving 2 stars but unknowledgeable.

Went to fix a flat. Found out my rim was bent. The guy said he doesn't sell one rim he only sells them in sets of 4. At a huge tire shop it's a stretch but ok. I asked if I can buy the rims but put my 3 good tires on and I'll buy a new one. He said they only sells 4 rims with 4 "new" tires. (At a used tire shop 🤔) These guys at this location are swindlers. Please Beware!! Too many shops in the area to settle for the unprofessionals.
