I have never, in my 67 years encountered a more honest, forthright, and skilled mechanic. I took my van in with what I thought was a major transmission issue. When he couldn't reproduce the symptoms, Paul called me and I picked it up with NO CHARGE! He is currently replacing the frame on my son in law's pickup. I don't think there's anything he can't fix. I've worked in shops and done some mechanic jobs myself and in my experience Paul is one of a kind.

Amazing experience! My college announced that campus would be closing due to COVID, and Paul was the only mechanic that could get me in before I had to drive home to Missouri. He quoted me about 25% less than other mechanics in the area to fix my wheel bearings. He spent all morning working to get them finished, but after test driving it realized that there was a problem with the sensors on one of the bearings. Instead of just replacing that one, he replaced all of them (for the second time!) with what he thought were better quality parts. He worked on my car for twice the amount of time planned and still only charged me the price of the initial quote. I didn't mind the wait & was happy to know that Paul made sure my car was ready to make the drive back to the Midwest. Also: The Pownal address is correct. The Portland location (also listed on Google) was closed after the shop moved to Pownal.
