Outlier Cycles Introduce

Outlier Cycles, located at 419 Wards Corner Rd Back Building, Loveland, OH 45140, positions itself within the Auto Repair Stations category by specializing in motorcycle repair and service. While the category name might typically bring to mind car repair, Outlier Cycles focuses specifically on two-wheeled vehicles, providing essential maintenance, repairs, and custom work for the local motorcycle community. Their services are designed to keep motorcycles running smoothly, safely, and tailored to individual rider preferences.

The environment at Outlier Cycles, situated in a "Back Building" on Wards Corner Rd, suggests a dedicated workshop setting. This type of location often implies a focus on the mechanical work itself, with the primary space optimized for bike service and repair rather than extensive customer waiting areas. It's likely a hands-on environment where the tools and equipment for motorcycle maintenance are readily available. The address indicates it's set back from the main road, which might provide a more focused and less bustling atmosphere for detailed work on motorcycles. Given the nature of a motorcycle repair shop, the environment would be geared towards functionality and efficiency in handling various bike models and their specific needs. The presence of a team, as mentioned on their website ("Your Outlier Cycles Team: Arizona, Skin, Justin, and Kevin"), suggests a collaborative and specialized workforce dedicated to motorcycle care.

Outlier Cycles offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to motorcycles. These include fundamental maintenance procedures such as oil changes and tire replacement, which are critical for routine care and safety. Beyond the basics, they perform full service inspections, helping to identify potential issues before they become major problems. For performance enhancements and problem-solving, they offer tune-ups, address drivability problems, and provide dyno tuning, which is a specialized service for optimizing engine performance and fuel efficiency. Customers seeking to personalize their bikes can also benefit from their custom parts installation service. For insurance purposes, Outlier Cycles conducts insurance inspections and estimates. Additionally, they provide motorcycle storage, a valuable service for riders during the off-season or when they need a secure place for their bike. Their website also lists services such as switching handlebar controls, installing new headlights and taillights, and swapping out mirrors with integrated turn signals, indicating their capacity for electrical and aesthetic modifications.

The primary features of Outlier Cycles revolve around their specialization in motorcycles and the range of services offered. Their ability to handle diverse needs, from routine maintenance like fluid changes and spark plug replacement to more complex installations and performance tuning, positions them as a versatile option for motorcycle owners. The mention of "Dyno Tuning" is a significant feature, indicating advanced capabilities for performance optimization, which appeals to riders looking to get the most out of their machines. The availability of "Custom Parts" installation suggests an understanding of the personalization aspect of motorcycle ownership. While some customer experiences have raised concerns about turnaround times and communication, the shop's stated services demonstrate a commitment to providing comprehensive care for motorcycles. Their operation from a "Back Building" also implies a dedicated space for motorcycle work, minimizing distractions and allowing for focused attention on each bike.

Regarding promotional information, Outlier Cycles primarily relies on its listed services and direct contact for inquiries. The services highlighted on their website, such as full service inspections, custom parts, dyno tuning, and storage, serve as a direct advertisement of their capabilities. The provision of their phone number, (513) 831-7999, indicates a direct line for customers to reach out for service inquiries, appointments, or emergency needs. The mention of "Your Outlier Cycles Team: Arizona, Skin, Justin, and Kevin" on their website also serves as a subtle form of promotion, introducing their staff and implying a team-based approach to motorcycle care. While detailed promotional campaigns or specific discounts are not explicitly provided in the available information, the comprehensive list of services itself acts as a promotional tool for motorcycle owners seeking a specialized repair shop in the Loveland area. The fact that they handle a variety of repair and customization needs, from basic tire changes to more intricate electrical work and performance adjustments, is a key message to potential customers. They invite customers to "Come in and see us for your motorcycle repair, service, or tuning needs," suggesting a direct and welcoming approach to customer engagement.

Outlier Cycles Customer Reviews

I was referred to by a Glen (Arizona) by a friend. Glen came highly reviewed. I dropped my bike off to him at the end of January. In Glen's defense, we did have a conversation about the fact that it's winter, and I don't need the bike back right away. But as you will read. That was taken well out of context. After 2 MONTHS, I started calling Glen weekly. My bike went from having 2 in front of it to being next. The "my bike is next" went on for a month. The things I was having done. New tires New brakes New headlight Switching handlebar controls to chrome. New tail light Swapping out mirrors to mirrors with integrated turn signals. Fluid change. After 3 months, he finally stated on my bike. 2 weeks later, when he was expected to be done. He wasn't even close. I finally had to call him to say whatever you didn't have done. Just forget about it. I gotta pick up my bike. At this point, he had it 15 weeks. Upon picking the bike up, the handle bar controls weren't on. He said they didn't fit. The tail light wasn't on. The mirrors weren't on. All he did was tires, brakes, fluids, and headlight. And charged $800. The handlebar controls fit just fine. I put them on myself. The mirrors that he said would have wires hanging out don't. It's only one small black wire that can be fished in the bottom of the handlebar controls. Bottom line Glen had every excuse why he didn't get the job done. He had "walking covid," his daughter, etc. All just excuses! Look at his hours of operation. 11am-7pm. That screams I don't want to get out of bed! Not to mention if you call or stop by. He's hardly ever there. Glen, whatever you have going on. You owe it to paying customers to do the job you agreed to in a timely manner! I will include pics of the controls you said wouldn't fit. Please follow up with me for a partial refund. $800 for what little you did is too much. You can venmo me a partial refund. Glen is a knowledgeable person. But I wouldn't take a moped to him. You'll be lucky to ever get it back! The good reviews that he has are from when the shop was under different ownership. Since Glen has become owner and sole proprietor, the service has dropped significantly.

They do not return phone calls. Been nearly 2 weeks. Wanted to give them a try because they have the best reviews, perhaps they were AI generated. Save yourself some time & trouble, try other shops

Really happy with their service. I tried 3 other shops and could not get anyone to talk to me. They were too busy! Outlier had the time to talk to me. If a shop can't talk to you about the work you being done! Can't trust them with your bike then. Getting a cam upgrade and exhaust. They took me step by step through the whole process. I recommend Outlier Cycles.

Just had a quick question on a carb rebuild I'm working on (as a first timer). Glen was happy to help and seemed very knowledgeable.
