O'Reilly Auto Parts Customer Reviews

My shield under my oil filter dropped down on my way from Fort Calhoun going north to work at 8:20 this morning. I called O'Reillys to see if they could zip tie it up until I can get to a mechanic and the employee said to bring it over And he would see what he could do. When I arrived it was drizzling and he came right out. He couldn't get under the car to zip tie cover but he could reach the one remaining clip and take it completely off for me. I of course agreed to this because this is not the first time it's dropped down. This was a life saver because I had to get to work this morning and for those who don't know that cover really isn't a necessity it's just to help keep dust out. I offered to pay for his time but he refused. I really appreciated him taking care of this for me so I did not have to call in to work and lose eight hours of pay and leave my home care client without a nurse for the day.

Not sure who the new girl is with the bad attitutude, but when i stated i may go elsewhere because of it, she said thank god...so orielly , i think you lost another customer... actually, just up the street i got the part for less than half price... Maybe a little price gouging to go go with that nasty attitude . Anyway. I will shop elsewhere!

I bought some wiper blades from Amazon and immediately broke one as I tried to install them. Snow on the way I drove to O'Reilly's & picked out two expensive silicon blades. Right on the front of the store, "Free Wiper Blade Installation." Rather than break another blade I requested they install them. The guy smiled, took my new blades out of their packaging, walked out with me and installed both of them in less than thirty seconds. I reached out with a $5 bill. He waved his hand and said "Nope, have a nice day." At that moment it began to snow, mixed with rain...they work beautifully! Thank you O'Reilly's!

I'm usually very happy with O'Reilly in Blair but my last visit has turned me off. Went out to my pickup at home and had battery issues. My battery is 5 years old and it made sense. This was on Sunday 2 weeks ago and O'Reilly was the only place in town that was open. Went in to buy a battery and the tech told me they could test it to make sure before I bought one. Initially I thought this was great so the test was done and I was told my battery was fine, as well as my alternator. So I didn't buy one. Went home, charged the battery fully only to have it be completely dead the next 2 times I went to drive it. Since I was told it wasn't the battery it had to be some electrical problem so I took it to the local dealer. After they did all of their test to make sure there wasn't an electrical issue they said it had to be the battery. So, why they didn't test the battery initially I don't know other than I told them it had been tested and I was told it was fine. Summary - I spent $280 on a new battery that I could have just purchased initially like I planned for about $100 less. So the employees at O'Reilly had my best interests at heart, their equipment cost me and extra $100.
