Country Tire Introduce

Country Tire, located at 1210 Grant St, Blair, NE 68008, USA, operates as a comprehensive auto repair station and tire store, providing a range of services and goods to local users in Blair and the surrounding areas. Falling under the platform category of "Auto Repair Stations," Country Tire aims to be a one-stop shop for vehicle owners, offering everything from new tire sales and installations to various automotive maintenance and repair services. This integration of tire services with general auto repair is designed to provide convenience and holistic vehicle care for its clientele.

The environment at Country Tire, typical of many local auto service centers, is likely focused on functionality and customer accessibility. Situated on Grant St, it's positioned for convenient access for residents of Blair. Inside, customers can expect a reception area for check-ins and consultations, often with a waiting area that may offer basic amenities. The service bays themselves would be equipped with the necessary tools and machinery for tire mounting and balancing, alignments, oil changes, and other general automotive repairs. Based on positive reviews, the environment is generally described as professional and courteous, with staff taking the time to explain options and answer questions. However, as with any busy service center, the primary emphasis is on efficient service delivery within a practical workspace. The aim is to create an organized and straightforward experience for customers seeking to have their vehicles serviced or new tires installed.

Country Tire offers a broad spectrum of services and goods designed to meet the diverse needs of vehicle owners. Their core offerings include the sale and installation of new tires, catering to various vehicle types such as cars, SUVs (like the Jeep Grand Cherokee mentioned in a review), and potentially light trucks. Beyond tire services, they perform essential automotive maintenance, including oil changes, which are a recurring service for many customers. They also conduct vehicle inspections, often marketed as multi-point inspections (e.g., a "27-point inspection"), to assess the overall health of a vehicle and identify potential issues. More in-depth repair services include brake and rotor work, addressing issues with steering and suspension components like ball joints, and potentially engine accessory repairs such as those involving serpentine belts and AC compressors. While the explicit information about their parts inventory is not detailed, as an auto repair station, they would stock or readily acquire common replacement parts and components necessary for the services they provide, ensuring timely repairs.

The features of Country Tire, as reflected in the provided customer feedback, present a somewhat mixed picture. On the positive side, a key feature highlighted is the professionalism and courteousness of the staff. One glowing review specifically praises the staff for being "professional and courteous, taking the time to answer questions and explain options," and for making sure "everything was perfect" after a tire installation. The efficiency and quickness of service for tire installations are also noted as a positive feature. This suggests that for straightforward services like tire changes, Country Tire can deliver a smooth and satisfying experience.

However, another significant feature that emerges from the reviews is a concerning inconsistency in the thoroughness of their vehicle inspections and diagnostic capabilities. A detailed negative review points to multiple instances where critical issues, specifically a deteriorating serpentine belt and worn brake pads/rotors, were allegedly overlooked or misrepresented despite direct inquiries and repeated "27-point inspections." This suggests a potential gap in quality control or diagnostic accuracy for more complex or safety-critical components, which is a significant feature for any auto repair station. The customer's frustration highlights the importance of trust and reliability in vehicle diagnostics, especially when pre-emptive maintenance is sought. The discrepancy between stated inspection protocols and actual findings by the customer reveals a critical area where the service may fall short of customer expectations. This directly impacts customer confidence and the overall reliability of the services provided, suggesting that while basic services might be efficient, more complex diagnostic work may require closer scrutiny from the customer. The willingness of staff to engage in detailed conversations and answer questions is a positive feature, but it must be consistently backed by accurate and thorough technical assessments.

Regarding promotional information, specific current offers or deals are not provided in the given data. However, like many auto repair stations and tire shops, Country Tire likely engages in various promotional activities to attract and retain customers. These commonly include:

  • New Tire Promotions: Discounts on specific tire brands, buy-three-get-one-free deals, or rebates on tire purchases and installations.
  • Service Bundles: Packages combining oil changes with tire rotations, or discounted inspections with other maintenance services.
  • Seasonal Specials: Promotions tailored to weather changes, such as winter tire changeover specials or pre-summer AC checks.
  • Online Coupons: Offers available through their website or local online directories to encourage new customer visits.
  • Loyalty Programs: Rewards or discounts for repeat customers who consistently bring their vehicles to Country Tire for service.

While the provided review information doesn't offer direct insight into Country Tire's ongoing promotions, interested local users in Blair, NE, are encouraged to contact them directly at (402) 426-2173 or +1 402-426-2173. Direct communication would allow customers to inquire about current deals, schedule appointments, and discuss any specific concerns regarding vehicle maintenance or tire needs. The contrasting reviews highlight the importance for potential customers to clearly communicate their concerns and, if possible, seek detailed explanations and documentation of any inspections performed.

Country Tire Customer Reviews

My son recently had 4 new tires installed on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. With him going to college so far from home, we wanted to find a reputable business in Nebraska. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. From start to finish, the staff was professional and courteous, taking the time to answer questions and explain options. The installation was quick and efficient and they made sure everything was perfect before he left. It eased our mind to know that he was taken such good care of so far from home. We highly recommend this shop for anyone in need of quality tires and excellent customer service.

I've gotten two oil changes here, and both times I was told a 27 point inspection was done. I was told everything was in good other than a lose ball joint. I specifically asked about my serpentine belt both time. I specifically mentioned that I was concerned about the age of the belt, that I didn't want it to snap on me while driving. I was both times it was in good shape and nothing to worry. I spent $1000 getting my control arms replaced. Fast forward to today when I'm heading home after work. I lose power and my car starts making a weird noise. Thankfully I'm driving past an O'Reilly's and manage to park safely there. I pop my hood to find the serpentine belt cracked and hanging there. I exam the belt to see it is very brittle. Obviously I'm incredibly angry, because I asked about this numerous times and told not to worry. I took my tire off to potentially put on a new belt, and find that the ac compressor pulley is wobbly and loose. Now my car is sitting at an O'Reilly's broken down, needing a new serpentine belt, and a new ac compressor because County Tire either lied about checking the serpentine belt or doesn't know how to inspect one. Add to all of this, I was told my breaks were fine, rotors are fine. When I took my tire off I find the brake pads incredibly thin, and metal shavings on my lugs nuts ... from the rotors, so now I need new rotors. So a 27 point inspection done twice in 6 months. Told brakes and rotors were fine.. lie, told serpentine belt was fine after I specifically asking about it.. lie. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is as a car owner to try and be preemptive about issues so you don't break down, to only have the mechanics set you up for failure? I want my car towed back to your shop and fixed at no cost to me. If you would have listened to me, and done your job none of this would have happened.

I visited Country Tire today because I was helping friends Troy and Beth Wakefield who's home was hit by the recent Blair Tornado and they had gotten a flat tire on the trailer we were using for cleanup. Chris the manager was kind enough to first of all get me in immediately to repair the flat tire with a patch but 5 minutes later the tech informed us that the hole was in the sidewall and couldn't be patched. Chris went through the warehouse and found us another brand new tire and said that Country Tire would pay for the tire. It is hard to find companies like Country Tire in today's world and just as hard to find workers like Chris that truly care about customers. We would have had to cut the day short if Country Tire didn't help us out !!!!!!! Thank you

I went to them for oil changes and everything needed for a couple of years. After the experience I had with them today, I will no longer be taking it in. I noticed a shake in my car and took it in to get looked at. They told me it was just the back tires. I asked multiple times if they were sure it wasn't anything else. They assured me they saw nothing wrong with it. I took their advice and got new tires. Fast forward two weeks, I take it in to get looked at again because it is shaking again along with making a noise. They now tell me it's so bad that they recommend not driving it because of how bad it is. They told me it is "scary to drive." My question is, if it's so bad to drive, how did they miss this a couple weeks ago when I took it in? After asking them multiple times, if they were sure it was just the tires, you would figure they would check more thoroughly. Me, not very happy, called back and asked how they could have missed this. Their answer was simply that they might have overlooked the issue. Today they lost long term customers. My family and I will no longer be taking in our vehicle here. If it let me rate them 0 stars I would, but in order to post this, I had to at least give them one.

Scheduled and fixed my windshield wiper pump. Amazing service, super friendly crew. They stayed passed closing to complete the job. Highly recommend and will go back for all service on our vehicles!
