Worst experience ever. I’ve shopped at O Rileys in general for many years and have always been greeted, asked if i needed assistance, ask for my rewards etc. As a young woman, specifically of color i appreciate this. Since i’ve moved i’ve started using this location, tonight not only did none of the 3 grown men standing at the front counter who made direct eye contact with me as i walked in greet me, they didn’t ask if i needed assistance, continued talking amongst themselves, said nothing as i aimlessly walked around the store trying to find what i needed, nor was i spoken to when i brought my items to the front desk. The only word spoken to me was my final total. I’ve worked in service my entire working life, not once have i ever even thought about not speaking to a customer, even those who have bad reputation at my jobs, so to experience it especially at a store i’ve favored for so many years was highly disappointing. My managers at any of my previous jobs would’ve written us up if we treated paying loyal customers anything even close to like that. Very sad.

I noticed this morning my rear, passenger turning signal light was burnt out. (i was today years old when i learned a burnt out light caused your signal to flash alot faster 🤦‍♀️) I googled it and learned that O’reilly auto parts changes them for you if you buy the bulb from them. I go to the one on north broadway and ask them and they say they have to look at it. The man come out, looks at it for two seconds and says he CAN change it but doesn’t want to and i should take it to the shop. I was kind of confused and left after an awkward, silent moment. I drove down the street to Auto Zone and the very kind gentleman looked at it and had it changed in under five minutes. Seriously?!?! At least lie and say you don’t know how to change it or can’t for some reason. Don’t look at a customer and say you can help but won’t. Thank you to the very nice men at auto zone for helping me out. You’ve just gained a loyal customer!

Went to O’Reilly’s this afternoon for a new low-beam headlight bulb. Ian helped me find the right light bulb and then spent about 15 minutes helping me get the bulb replaced! He was kind, patient, and persistent in getting the old bulb out when things under the hood were really close together, and then making sure the new bulb was in securely. Great customer service and I really appreciated his help!!
