’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at O’Reilly Auto Parts, particularly at the Lawndale location (15122 1/2 Hawthorne Blvd). In February 2025, I had a car battery installed there, and just one week later, in early March, the battery died. I had to call AAA for assistance, and their technician confirmed it was a bad battery that needed replacement. I even have the AAA report as proof. I returned to the Lawndale store the next morning with the report, but was told the battery was “fine.” They refused to replace it, despite it being under warranty. Fast forward to April 11, the battery failed again—same issue. This time, I was beyond frustrated and had AAA replace the battery entirely. What makes this worse is that I believe the battery originally installed by O’Reilly was used, not new. I went to a second location (4900 W 190th, Torrance) hoping for better help, but had a similar experience—dismissive attitude, no accountability, and no resolution. I’m writing this review so others are aware. This experience cost me time, money, and peace of mind. If you’re relying on your vehicle daily, beware of the service and product quality at these O’Reilly locations. A warranty means nothing if the staff refuses to honor it.

I walk into the store and are immediately greeted by all three employees. Felt welcomed and acknowledged. One of the employees, Ryan, came over to help me. Great service. He assisted me with checking my vehicle’s engine light and suggested the necessary repair and parts. Ryan, is definitely a great asset to this store. I will definitely continue to make this my go to store for all my car parts needs.

Super awesome team here. I showed the lady on duty a picture of the part I needed and she barely got a glimpse before she took me right to it. I was with my 1 year old son at the time as well and couldn’t install the part and the manager Chris got down on the wet floor to help me install it. I will only be coming here from now on.

Waited in line while other cashier was on the phone. She was actually helping someone. Then some older guy was just standing there so I waited patiently giving him his time to finish what he was doing. Then some random guy walks into the store goes in front of us and up to him and they start having a full conversation. He completely ignores me and continues to help the other guy even though I had stood there waiting. Very disrespectful and unprofessional I am a local and will never go back to that store.
