Great place for state inspections & timely service! They fit me in right away. The front desk girl, Jenna, was so sweet and welcoming over the phone AND in person. Very patient with scheduling and discussing any issues with my car to get them taken care of right away. Would definitely recommend.

I was driving to New Castle from out of state to visit my mom when I realized my car was in need of repairs. My mom has been a long time customer of New Castle Auto Repair, so naturally that was the first place I called. They had me bring my car in first thing that morning and within the hour had done a full inspection and called me back with an explanation of the needed repairs. They also sent me a written inspection report with photos. During the course of the repairs, they discovered another issue and called me back with an explanation and price estimate for the additional repair. All of the work was completed before the end of the day. Jenna at the front desk was kind and efficient, the shop's communication and pricing was clear, and jenna called me to give explanations and get my approval before any work was started. This is a wonderful, trustworthy, family owned shop and I am grateful for their good care during my travels!

I got some very bad news delivered to me one Monday morning in December when I tried to start my car. Click...No go. Try again...Click, no go. Not a whimper. Had to get my vehicle towed out because it wouldn't start. Fast-forward, after getting it towed to two different mechanics who couldn't figure it out, I had it towed a third and FINAL time to NC Auto Repair. And why did I choose NC Auto? Because of the descriptive legacy on their website. And I wasn't wrong for sending my Mini to them. I had faith. And that faith was not undone. My vehicle had some peculiar problems, beyond the obvious, heck its an '08 Mini Cooper and this review is 2025. I never thought that outside of a big dealership, anyone local could tell the tale and work on the SOB. But I was pleasantly surprised and even enthused when NC Auto gave me their diagnostic. They took it on, and didn't disappoint. I wonder why? Well I'll tell ya, they're professionals seeking to do good works. I had major engine work done at their shop and other auxiliary work related to said engine work. Such a skeptic I was, worried, that they couldnt take care of me--and believe me, I was worried and probably prompted them with more questions than I thought they could handle. But they handled it. Professionally and with courtesy. (Hey, I drive an old car, and didn't want a new car and a new $$$$$ car payment). Well they took care of my old gal. And by took care I mean she runs like new. Now that's a matter of what? Parts, labor, diagnostic, the whole kit? Yeah, Id say that's fair. But that's who they are, no stone is unturned. I cannot express how much confidence I have in the individuals who work there to get the job done--timely, but also accurately. And I had lengthy work done here. But their ability to communicate the order of operations daily, never was dull. I received phone calls near daily on the update of where they were with regard to any repairs and what they found that needed it. Communication here is TOP NOTCH. Absolutely TOP NOTCH. Talk to any of their employees and they take the time. Moreover, they'll call you before you even expect to be called. THEY CARE. And I, a worried man, about his old car, appreciate that greatly. The work is TOP NOTCH. They're professionals, they know cars. They know what makes them tick when your vehicle is ticking. Very impressed and happy. Talk to their technicians and leadership and you will understand. Not to mention their customer service personnel. Amazing. Ill be a customer for life. So long as I stay in the area, I am bringing my vehicle to NC Auto. I trust them. And I don't trust many. They will take care of you to a point you will be astonished. Because we all fear taking the car into the mechanic. Don't fear it here.
