They are only good at scamming money out of you. They overcharge for a poorly done job. I brought my truck here for a new radiator, but not two months in, the radiator exploded. I took the truck to a different mechanic because it was an emergency. This new mechanic told me Mountain View had done a bad job when placing the new radiator in. When I asked for a refund at Mountain View, they said they could only give me credit for the radiator and not for labor, which I said was okay. The next day, I got a call back saying they could not give me credit for the radiator, but could only give me a new radiator. It was that or nothing. Mind you, I no longer needed another radiator. I’m definitely not coming back here again. Also, I left the difference in pay at the other automotive place: Lio's Auto Service & Repair, LLC. Would totally recommend this one instead!

I've used Mountain View Tire for both tire and auto repair services for several years. I've always found them to be very professional and reasonably priced. The auto repair service is very fast and good at communication. I just had a wheel bearing diagnosed and fixed on the same day. The mechanic called, explained the issue, and provided an estimate before fixing it.

Charged over 100 dollars more than I was quoted for the same scope of work and told it would take about 2 hours....it took 7 and a half,just to change a blower motor!!! Wayne is a perfect example of an awful customer experience. Seriously, they should make a training video called "how to suck" with him as the star. This shop used to be my go-to. I would even send all my friends here but I'm sad to say I wouldn't send my worst enemy here nowadays. Billy was very courteous & professional along with a mechanic named Ray but this "business" is a sinking ship with captain Wayne at the helm!

I purchased 4 new tires here. Tires need rotation. Have been in 4 times to get them rotated and get the same answer. You will have to leave it with us for two hours. I am my brothers caretaker and can’t leave my brother or my car that long. It sure didn’t take that long to spend my money on buying there tires but since there’s no money in it for them I feel they don’t care. So sad. New manager took over and he called me and my tire were rotated without any waiting time. Happy shopper again and that’s the way service should be done. Thanks new manager.

I had my vehicle’s alignment done at Mountain View and couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, Ben, the manager greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel right at home. I expected to wait a long time as they are a busy shop , but to my surprise, they had my alignment completed super fast! The entire shop showed a genuine kindness and I felt valued. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I am so happy to have found my new shop!

“Under New Management” issues We have been using this establishment for years and have always been happy with the work and service provided. I would have given them five stars today, except for a new rule enacted by the current management/owners (see photo). They now charge a 3% fee on all credit card sales. I don’t feel like the customer should be penalized for using a credit card. No one else that we do business with charges this extra fee. When one is having a large repair done, or buying an entire set of tires, ready cash for the entire purchase is sometimes not available. Most established businesses consider this fee the “cost of doing business,” and don’t pass it along their customers. Let’s hope they reconsider, and change this policy… In addition, many regular customers are no longer receiving their discount post-cards in the mail since the take-over. However, since my husband and I have been regular customers for years, the Service Advisor Devin was kind enough to give me the discount on my oil change. Thank you! Also, the entire time I was there waiting for my vehicle, Devin was nothing but courteous and patient with all the customers. I did hear another customer being told they were not yet set up to do his vehicle inspection, but that this should be resolved in a few weeks’ time. So, to Devin and the rest of crew in the shop, I would give you all 5-stars! But my overall rating is 4-stars due to the “new management” issues.

I wanted to support a local business, but experienced poor communication and customer service when there was an issue. I had an appointment for an oil change but waited for almost a hour. I had to go find someone to ask for an update after 40min. They said they ran out of oil and had to go out get more. No one told me about this issue and that there would be a delay. Good customer service would have been to offer at least a small discount for the inconvenience and lack of communication.

I brought my car here (2014 Hyundai Sante fe) because it was overheating. They charged me over $1200 to “fix” it and 2 weeks later, my car DIED. I had to get a completely new car. Probably the biggest waste of money I’ve ever experienced. I suspect they knew there were major problems but did some work to get $$. I will never go here again.
