Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair Introduce

Welcome to an overview of Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair, an establishment categorized under Auto Repair Stations, located at 1563 Dix Hwy, Lincoln Park, MI 48146, USA. This repair shop can be contacted at phone number (313) 383-7870 or mobile phone +1 313-383-7870. Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair caters to a range of vehicles, with a particular focus on trucks and fleet maintenance, as suggested by its name.

Gauging the environment of an auto repair shop solely based on online reviews can be challenging, as customers typically focus on the services received and their overall experience. However, considering the nature of truck and fleet repair, it's likely that Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair operates in a facility equipped to handle larger vehicles and potentially more complex mechanical issues. This might include specialized tools, lifts with higher weight capacities, and a spacious workshop to accommodate trucks and fleet vehicles.

Based on the limited information available from customer reviews, we can infer some of the services offered by Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair. The name itself indicates a specialization in:

  • Truck Repair: This likely encompasses a broad range of mechanical repairs and maintenance services specifically for trucks, potentially including diesel engines.
  • Fleet Repair: This suggests that they cater to businesses that operate a fleet of vehicles, offering maintenance and repair services to keep their commercial vehicles running.

One customer review mentions a "catastrophic failure" while pulling a trailer, and highlights that Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair prioritized getting the trailer fixed and roadworthy. This suggests that they also offer:

  • Trailer Repair: Services to address mechanical issues and ensure the safety and functionality of trailers.

Conversely, another customer review details a highly negative experience involving the towing and attempted repair of a Ford F350 diesel truck. This review alleges damage to the front end during towing, a failure to fix the original problem despite charging for a part replacement, and subsequent refusal to cover damages incurred. This account raises serious concerns about the quality of service and customer handling in at least one instance.

Analyzing the features of Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair requires careful consideration of the contrasting customer experiences. One positive review highlights:

  • Prioritization of Urgent Repairs: They made it a priority to fix a trailer with a catastrophic failure quickly.
  • Regular Communication: They phoned to keep the customer updated on the progress of the repair.
  • Perceived Honesty and Fair Pricing: The customer felt the pricing was honest and fair.
  • Customer-Focused Approach: The customer felt they were looking out for their best interests.
  • Skilled Technicians: The customer described them as "clearly very skilled."

However, the negative review paints a starkly different picture, alleging:

  • Poor Service and Customer Service: The reviewer explicitly states that their service and customer service were "horrible."
  • Alleged Fake Reviews: The reviewer suggests the presence of fake positive reviews.
  • Damage to Vehicle During Towing: The reviewer claims their Ford F350 diesel front end was damaged while being towed by the shop.
  • Refusal to Pay for Damages: Despite allegedly admitting fault, the shop reportedly dodged calls and refused to pay for the damages.
  • Ineffective Repairs: The reviewer claims to have been charged for a part replacement that did not fix the problem.
  • Questionable Competence: The reviewer suggests that "these guys don’t know what they are doing."

Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to objectively ascertain the typical features and service quality of Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair. The significant discrepancy between the two reviews suggests a potential inconsistency in service quality or customer experience. It is crucial for potential customers to be aware of these contrasting viewpoints.

Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available for Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair in the provided text. Therefore, we cannot comment on any ongoing offers or discounts they might be providing to local users.

In conclusion, Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair in Lincoln Park, MI, is an auto repair station specializing in truck and fleet services, and potentially trailer repairs. While one customer reported a positive experience characterized by prioritized service, good communication, perceived honesty, and skilled work, another customer detailed a severely negative experience involving vehicle damage, ineffective repairs, and poor customer service. Local users considering Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair should be aware of these differing opinions and may want to seek further information or references before making a decision. The lack of promotional information means potential customers would need to contact the shop directly to inquire about pricing and any special offers.

Motorcity Truck and Fleet Repair Customer Reviews

If you are thinking about having your vehicle serviced here please listen to me and save yourself a huge headache!! Their service and customer service is horrible!! They have fake reviews. They will probably delete this review to keep a fake 5.0 star rating. They wrecked my Ford F350 diesel front end while attempting to tow it! They admitted fault and said they would fix the damage but when I said I wanted the damage fixed elsewhere which is my right they have dodged my calls and refused to pay for the damages they caused! I have my lawyer getting paperwork and a lawsuit processed as we speak! They think that they can just ignore me and this will go away. No my attorney is going to take this to the highest extent! BEWARE!! These people are crooks! I have ober $3000 worth of collision damage to my vehicle because of these idiots! They also did not fix my truck. They charged me almost $1000 for changing a part that didn’t even fix the problem!! These guys don’t know what they are doing! Taking peoples hard earned money is the only thing they’re good at.

We had a catastrophic failure while pulling a trailer. Our trailer was hauled to this facility. They made it a priority to get it fixed and road worthy so that we could get home as soon as possible. They phoned to keep us updated on the progress. We felt that they were honest and fair in their pricing, and we felt like they were really looking out for our best interests. They are clearly very skilled. Definitely recommend!
