Updating with a new review: Came in for an issue with my car turning on and off while driving Mechanic at Monroe says oil change will fix it and that there’s too much oil in my engine cool I give them the go ahead to do an oil change and to flush the oil lines out. That apparently was not the issue bc the car was still turning off while driving they then told me it was the timing chain (it wasn’t) and that another one of their shops would perform the fix for the timing chain(which again wasn’t the issue) they then still charged me for an oil change. Fast forward to August 19th I have it towed to another shop and then looked at and fixed today August 20th they said it needs an oil change AGAIN because the oil is still black/brown after Monroe said that they changed my oil and flushed the whole system out not only that but my drain plug was loose and leaking oil everywhere as was my oil filter again leaking oil all over after monroe “changed my oil” the issue is now fixed thanks to a more professional knowledgeable shop that’s locally owned, and to reiterate it again was not a timing chain it was a solenoid that needed replacing. Save yourself time and frustration and money people go to a local shop they won’t rip you off or sabotage your vehicle to extort more money out of you. Pictures attached of drain plug and oil filter with oil everywhere around them before the shop fixed it today that the owner/mechanic sent me himself.

I see that this is a common issue in this monroe tire service station, reading others review. We brought our Mitsubishi outlander for tires to be stud and install it. Long story short. We end up with one tire sensor broken which they replaced but it gave us more problem on the road so we let them know right away and they give us a new appointment for this matter but my wife was also noting a loud noise coming now from the air circulation in the car. We are both now very comfused why the car came out of their garage with issues that didn't have before. So now we have a bad tire sensor light on and a loud noise coming from the air blower inside the car that you can't even speak comfortable inside the car while youre driving. If I go to the beginning of the story when I was researching for this stud tires installation I called twice for prices and the price was the same both calls but when I drove from Meadville to Erie to get that price and the job done, the price wasn't the one they gave me twice by phone, which it was what it made us take it there initially. So it was almost 100 more than the price given by phone. When we brought our car back for the tire sensor light issue they gave us 8am appointment but at 3:45 I gave them a call to ask about our car and Ed answer that the car will be ready in an hour or so. They never called me back so I called again at 4:45 so they said the car was ready but when my wife was about to start driving our car home she noted now the engine service light was on. We grab the regional manager phone and when I call I was so upset that I forgot manners so I asked who is this, he arrogantly answered, who is this? "You called me". I said ok. Yes, are you Ryan the regional manager of monroe? He said yes so I explained him everything so he made excuses but he said he understood our frustration and send us back so I called my wife and she was still there after her whole day at work now she had to wait more for this place to check our car again after being there since 7:45am, at this time im already regretting that we put our car in this people hands. When they give my wife our car back they didn't inform of anything that have happened just give her the key, "it's done" and let her go. Very unprofessional and terrible service. That was just the worst car service that we have ever had.

Staff got me in immediately even when understaffed due to an employee not showing up. Checked all my concerns to make sure I was safe before traveling for work. Highly recommend there service!

The staff at Monroe was very fast and communicated everything about my truck. Fasted inspection I’ve ever had, and I know they looked at it well because they loved my Ranger and the mini Ranger inside of it.
