Mobile Repair Logistics LLC Introduce

Located at 209 MacGregor Rd, Lockport, IL 60441, USA, Mobile Repair Logistics LLC operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, though its distinctive service model focuses on mobile and on-site repair, primarily for commercial vehicles like trucks, trailers, and reefers. They offer 24-hour service, indicating a commitment to providing assistance around the clock for breakdowns and emergency situations. For immediate assistance or inquiries, they can be reached at (219) 204-8415 or via mobile at +1 219-204-8415.

The operational environment of Mobile Repair Logistics LLC is fundamentally different from a traditional brick-and-mortar auto repair shop. Instead of customers bringing their vehicles to a fixed garage, Mobile Repair Logistics brings the repair service directly to the customer's location. This means their "environment" is primarily their service vehicles, which are likely equipped with tools, parts, and diagnostic equipment necessary for roadside and on-site repairs. For heavy-duty vehicles, this setup is crucial, as towing a large truck or trailer can be complex and expensive. While they also state they have a "fully equipped repair shop" and offer towing to their shop, their unique selling proposition centers on their mobile capabilities. The ideal mobile repair environment would be one where technicians are well-equipped, efficient, and capable of performing a wide range of repairs on the spot, minimizing downtime for commercial operators. However, as customer reviews indicate, the actual experience can vary significantly from this ideal.

The services offered by Mobile Repair Logistics LLC are extensive and geared towards keeping commercial fleets and individual truck/trailer owners operational. Their core services include: 24-hour mobile and on-site repair for trucks, trailers, and reefers (refrigerated trailers). This encompasses a broad range of fixes such as tire repair and replacement (including new, used, and recapped tires), lockouts, fuel deliveries, and jump starts. More complex services advertised include computer diagnostics, electrical repairs, air/fluid leak fixes, brake repairs, suspension repairs, welding, engine repairs, front-end repairs, body work, and even clutch and transmission repairs. They also offer routine services like fleet maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM service), and DOT inspections. The breadth of their services suggests they aim to be a comprehensive solution for heavy-duty vehicle breakdowns and maintenance needs, minimizing the need for towing or extended shop visits. They also provide towing services for both heavy and light duty vehicles to their repair shop if an on-site fix isn't feasible.

The features of Mobile Repair Logistics LLC, as advertised, include their 24/7 availability, commitment to fast response with affordable rates, and their ability to handle a wide array of repairs for "all makes/models" of trucks, trailers, and reefers. The convenience of mobile and on-site service is a paramount feature, crucial for commercial drivers and fleet managers who need to minimize vehicle downtime. Their advertised capability to offer "computer diagnostics" and specialized repair for "Thermo King & Carrier transport refrigeration units" indicates a level of technical sophistication. They aim to provide "professional fast service" with "honest rates," emphasizing reliability and cost-effectiveness for urgent repair needs. The promise of "rigorously trained & certified technicians" further suggests a commitment to quality workmanship, essential for complex commercial vehicle systems.

However, it is imperative to address the direct customer reviews provided, as they present a critical counter-narrative to the advertised features. The reviews paint a picture of significant dissatisfaction and alleged problematic business practices. One customer explicitly labels the company as a "Fraudulent company," alleging they were "charged over $400 for a service not provided" after a "jumpstart request" where the company was "over two hours late" and the customer eventually "started my van left." The customer expresses confusion and frustration over being billed for "no service rendered" and questions the legitimacy of the charges, mentioning potential non-compliance with the Federal Trade Commission. These reviews highlight severe issues with timeliness of service, communication, transparency in billing, and potentially unethical charging for unfulfilled services. For a business that primarily relies on urgent roadside assistance and mobile repairs, delays and questionable billing practices directly contradict the core value proposition of prompt, reliable, and affordable service. The claims of "fraudulent" activity and being referred to "collection against me" for unrendered service are grave accusations that would severely undermine trust in any "Auto Repair Station," especially one focused on emergency mobile repairs.

Given the nature of the negative feedback, any promotional information for Mobile Repair Logistics LLC would need to directly address these serious concerns. While the company's advertised strengths are its 24/7 mobile service, wide range of repairs, and promise of affordability, the customer reviews suggest a stark discrepancy between promise and delivery. Therefore, if the company were to promote its services, it would ideally focus on demonstrating a renewed commitment to transparency, punctuality, and fair billing practices. Without direct evidence of a change in business practices, promotional efforts might face significant challenges in overcoming the current public perception. Typically, mobile repair services promote their rapid response times, convenience, ability to save customers towing costs, and their specialized knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles. They might offer competitive flat rates for common services like jump starts or fuel deliveries, or highlight their service radius. However, in this particular case, addressing and resolving the issues raised in the customer complaints would be the most critical "promotional" activity, as a strong, positive reputation built on trust and reliability is paramount for any service provider in the "Auto Repair Stations" category, especially one dealing with emergency situations.

Mobile Repair Logistics LLC Customer Reviews

Fraudulent company. Over two hours late for a jumpstart request and charged over $400 for a service not provided.

Apr 08, 2025 · Dane Shue

I had paid for roadside assistance in my Budget Truck contract and did call the number for a possible battery jump assist within the City. Mobile Repair Logistics LLC answered the phone but They didn't show up for over two hours and eventually I started my van left. I am confused as to why they billed a total of $400.75 against me for no service rendered. Did the roadside assistance charge that amount for showing up late even though they had rendered no service? What does my roadside assistance charges cover? Why has this been referred as a collection against me? I doubt this business practice is complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
