Another detailed review provides further insight into the services and pricing at Midwest Tire and Automotive. This customer sought a reliable and affordable solution for a blown head gasket, a significant engine repair. They reported receiving quotes significantly lower than other shops in the area ($1,500 compared to $2,500 and higher), indicating potentially competitive pricing. Furthermore, the reviewer praised the clear communication regarding the work to be done and the estimated timeframe. An unexpected positive outcome was the accidental fixing of an oil leak, which another shop had quoted as a $500 repair but was resolved by Midwest Tire and Automotive with a simple and inexpensive oil drain plug gasket replacement costing around $10. This suggests attention to detail and a willingness to address underlying issues even while working on a primary repair.

This same customer expressed continued satisfaction with Midwest Tire and Automotive, having returned multiple times for general service and oil changes over a period of 10,000 miles since the initial head gasket repair. This repeated business and positive feedback underscore the reliability and quality of their services.

Went here back in February for a pretty expensive fix. Friend recommended them to me because the head gasket blew on my car and needed a cheap reliable place. Everywhere quoted me $2,500 and higher while their quote was $1,500. On top of the better price they informed me of the work that would be done roughly how long it would take and were extremely helpful. They also accidentially fixed my oil leak. Chevy said was a $500 fix and it just needed the oil drain plug gasket which Midwest put on for like $10. She's still running amazing 10k miles later and I've been back multiple times for service and oil changes and have always been pleased.

Midwest tire and auto have always done a great job with my vehicles (Toyota highlander & Mazda 3) they're always prompt to get it completed (they've never had a vehicle of mine more than 2 days), always willing to example anything i might have a question about, and are friendly group of guys. I've used them for going on 5 years and wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else. Thanks again Mark, Michael, and Chris.

Midwest Tire worked me in on a trip from Virginia, to make sure a car I was bringing back would make the trip home. They were extremely thorough- gave me a whole page of their findings and took almost an hour just going over the car with me- and were extremely reasonably priced! They even checked on me when I got home to make sure everything was okay! I wish they were in my hometown, because I would use them for everything!! Thanks so much for taking great care of me- I really appreciate you guys!!

Great place to go if you have a 20 year old Chevy. Terrible place to go if they have to touch a computer. Expect sensors for your brakes to not be replaced, along with pressure marks on your wheels from simple tire replacements. Its usually the customers fault for an issue with service and youre usually wasting their time, not your own. If you're old and never replace your vehicle, this is a great place to go!
