We took my car in for an alignment. We took it early on a Saturday because the alignment tech was supposed to be in, but he wasn't. We left the car until Monday but got a call Monday around noon stating they couldn't do the alignment since it need $1600 of front end work. My husband is an ASE Certified Mechanic in 3 areas. He had just done a bunch of front end work and that's why we needed the alignment. They were going to charge us $65 for "looking at it" but when we told them that he was certified they decided not to charge us. Very suspicious I say... I won't be using them again.

Joe's Engine Repair is a great place to fix your vehicle. They only work on domestic stuff, from what I gather. The smog place next door is also good. Less than 20 minutes if they aren't busy.
