No integriity! I drove 3 1/2 hours one way to buy a new Honda Accord. I talked to the dealer several times on the phone prior to my appointment to get the otd price, which they gave me only to be lied to several times. They tack on $2500 worth of fees for bs and claim they can’t take it off. When I wrote them a poor review after my purchase I was contacted and promised if I changed my survey to be completely positive then they would send me a few accessories for free. This was 3 months ago and they have been reminded several times and I have yet to receive them. Oh and it took 8 hours in the dealership just to purchase a vehicle that they already knew I was getting. We live the car but wish we would’ve bought local.

TLDR: I was offered a comped oil change at 40% oil life by service advisor and was told details were put into system. Nothing on file when I arrived and unable to get service. I was lied to and wasted my time. So much for taking a business for their word. Called the Service department to find out what my options were for an oil change. I’ve had my vehicle for eight months and I’m not close to 15% on Maintenance Minder. I was first put through to service scheduling but they were unable to answer technical questions about engine health given the potential of going >12 months between oil changes. I was transferred to a service advisor and after discussing my situation with him, he stated that what they can do for low mileage vehicles is complete the oil change early but not reset the maintenance minder. This way, the owner can still take advantage of the free Honda oil change when I do hit 15%. The service advisor then offered to comp the oil change because of my situation. I confirmed that the oil change was Free and he confirmed it was free and that all notes were in the system “so when you arrive someone will take care of you”. Only then did I schedule service. I arrived at the dealership, and I was assisted by a different advisor who said there are no notes in the system and basically I’m out of luck. There was no push to find out who I spoke with, and there was no attempt at being sympathetic to my situation. My family regularly services two vehicles at McGrath and this would have been the third. I’m not eager to continue our relationship after this. Bait and switch in sales is one thing, I never expected it in Service. You need to do better.

I was very nervous about going in to buy a car for the first time in 20+ years. The whole team was great! Alex was a wonderful salesman. He wasn't pushy and wanted to get me in what would work best for me all around. He asked the right questions and answered all of mine. George was great checking in throughout to help ease the stress of the process and ensure my satisfaction. Brandon guided me through the financial process with patience. They made sure I got the best rate and left happy. I got a great price for my trade, which I didn't think I'd be leaving behind, and I left in a big girl truck.
