Mavis Tires & Brakes

Finding a good tire shop is difficult and considering how expensive tires can be, you don't want to choose the wrong place! This Mavis is definitely one of the GOOD tire shops. It's located just north of the Woodman's within the greater mall shopping center. I found tires and made an appointment online for a small deposit. I got a call from the store a few days before letting me know that my tires had arrived and will be ready for installation on my appointment day. I showed up, handed over the keys, and it took about 75 minutes for the installation. I think my tire installation was a bit shorter than normal as I didn't get an alignment and my vehicle is old enough to not have any TPMS sensors to install and reset. Thankfully, this Mavis didn't try to push any additional services or repairs on me. The gentleman at the counter asked me only once if I wanted the recommended alignment and I declined. There is a waiting room with about 10 seats, a water cooler, and a TV. There were a couple of magazines floating about. There are two bathrooms here as well, separate men's and women's. I'll be coming back here the next time I have to purchase tires for any of my cars!

When I called, I was in desperate need of a brake change. Cliff answered the phone and said we could take my car right away! Was music to my ears. In person, cliff was so kind and knowledgeable and helped run a quote for me. The mechanics worked quickly and efficiently and even let me come take a look at everything to see what was wrong. I will certainly be looking forward to doing business here in the future when it’s time to get some new tires.

I came in for a rideshare vehicle inspection. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. They told me what repair was needed and was done in a few hours. Price was very reasonable, and then I was back on the road. They even called me the same day to let me know that I had forgotten some personal belonging. Thanks to Cliff amd Jimmy and the rest of the guys! The place was very clean. Restrooms, too. The only thing missing was the snack/pop machine in the waiting lounge. The customers would very much appreciate it. 🙂

Guy accommodating me was really nice but his boss was so rude and the opposite of him. He’s so tired of his job, very rude boss. They also scratched my brand new wheels. Like literally out of the box and they scratched it. They don’t care about your wheels. Will never go back to this branch for sure.

This shop is very close to where I live, so I happy to go just for that convenience alone, but the service from Cliff is what keeps me as a customer! I made a visit back in the fall to get my brakes serviced, but after taking a look at my car, Cliff told me that my brakes were fine, and did not charge me for work that I didn’t need done. I just went back today to get my brakes done, and he made sure I stayed within my budget, and I am confident he would never take advantage of me. I highly recommend you let Cliff take care of your car!
