I took my car to the dealership and came out with a huge list and bill. I took my car to Serj to get a second opinion. He saved me thousands and even identified a safety issue that the dealership did not. I’m very grateful for Serj’s honesty and kindness. Will always highly recommend this shop.

i had failed a smog test 4 times in a row but all the smog guy could tell me was “keep driving” every time i went back he was like “your battery must be new, it’s not ready keep driving. 50 miles then bring it back.” i drive 50 miles, then 100, then 150, the 4th time i brought it back i had put 300 more miles on it and he just said “it’s still not ready keep driving” he also told me nothing else was wrong with it and it was def the battery and that driving would fix it. at my whits end i called Mak’s and took it in and Serj was like “oh yes, there’s a special driving pattern you have to do. you can’t just drive, you have to drive at certain speeds for certain amounts of time.” i left the car with him overnight and he drove it around the city according to the ~pattern~ and called me when it was ready and then drove me to a smog place down the street from his shop and it passed 😭😭😭 i was losing my mind before meeting Serj and i will be forever grateful.

Serj is an expert in what he does. Very honest mechanic, something hard to find in LA. Once I had work needed to be done on my car, went to couple places they quoted me $950, and said maybe they could do it, someone introduced me to Serj, he did the job for $420, in one day, and i've been a happy customer ever since. God bless Mak's Auto Services for their honesty and care for their customers.

These guys are awesome! Serj is knowledgeable, honest, and reliable! My go to shop for everything from wheel alignments and brake jobs to motor and transmission overhauls. THESE GUYS KNOW THERE STUFF!
