Outstanding service. I was in town and needed a new tire for my bike. And he was able to get me in and out in the same day. Old tire would not have gotten me home. And his help was instrumental in getting us home. Thanks again

I contacted M&S about rebuilding an XR250R motor for me. Steve kindly explained that he was very busy with current projects and likely wouldn't be able to get to it anytime soon. Most shops currently are very busy, short handed, and not willing to work on anything older than 10 years or that they didn't sell in the first place. Also, after 45+ years, he can pretty much pick and choose what he wants to get involved with... my words not his... and his wheel house and passion is British bikes. I told him I understood... thanks anyway. Then he offered me an alternative, come in and use his shop, tools, and when Im in a jam... his expertise to do it myself at half the labor rate! Perfect! That's exactly what Ive wanted to do all along. Im getting more comfortable being my own mechanic, but at the time had not tried to split the cases on a bottom end for repairs. I welcomed the chance to learn from him. It turned out to not be a huge job, but I spent 6 hours over two nights in Steve's shop and he was very helpful and I enjoyed it very much. Im on the hunt for my next project already... hoping to make it British... and to spend some more time in Steve's shop.

If you ride anything that says "Made in England" on it, there's only one place within 100 miles of Albany that will give your cycle the care it deserves, and that's M&S Cycle. Steve Ritzko is the British Bike Guru of northeastern New York. Steve can diagnose your bike in a flash, and knows just what it needs to get back to its best. Half the time, he'll tell you what's wrong on the phone, as soon as you tell him your year and model. Steve stocks a huge selection of parts and knows all the distributors to get you what you need. He's one of the best mechanics around for European and Japanese bikes, too, and he's been doing this a long time, so he's seen about everything. Sometimes he might seem a little gruff, but if you bring coffee, you'll get on his good side. You will leave knowing more about your bike than you ever imagined, and you and your bike will be happier than ever too.

There's a reason M & S Cycle has been in business since 1977: Steve Ritzko is an expert mechanic who's well respected in the classic motorcycle world. He doesn't bother advertising himself because he doesn't need to- he has a loyal customer base and gets plenty of business through word of mouth. If you're in the upstate NY area and need work done on your classic British, Japanese, or European bike, M&S Cycle is the place to go.
