I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from M&S Collision in Chesterton! I had my 2020 Honda Civic SI towed from Copart to M&S on a referral after an accident and my insurance denied my accident claim and from the the very first phone call with Kelly at the front desk I had a vibe that this was the right place. All throughout the extensive process of the repairs on the vehicle I was able to speak with Ashley about the progress of the car who handled my experience with care given the details I gave on how important it was to get this car fixed professionally as it is a car I have always wanted growing up. Every time I called the office Ashley and Kelly always answered with professionalism and always had answers and even allowed me to come into the shop and see and take pictures that I will add in this review of the progress of the work being done and then the day came to pick up my car after months of not having it and I could not believe how my car looked! It looked like it had never been in an accident, actually it looked better than before the accident! The parts were all fit perfectly and the metallic blue paint and clear coat was blended and matched to the rest of the car perfectly! Before I came to pick my car up Ashley advised me to call a few hours ahead of time and said she would be sure it got washed again before I got there just to put the cherry on top of a wonderful experience with this company! Also the next day I had a warning message that popped up on the gauge cluster that said the impact sensor was obstructed. I brought it back to Chesterton and Ashley sent me over to the Valparaiso shop which is where they work on electronic components such as recalibration of the sensors and within an hour the gentleman named Mike that Ashley referred me to had me out and on my way again and it’s been a few months since I’ve had my car back and their work has held up as I took it on a 12 hour round road trip the following weekend, multiple car washes and the paint and clear coat and parts are all holding up and I have had no issues. In my opinion this has been the best experience I have ever come across when dealing with vehicle repairs and I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any kind of impact damage done to their vehicle so much to the point I will never take my vehicles to anyone else for this kind of work and I wish I could bring it in for all maintenance and repairs! Thank you so much M&S from the front desk all the way to the young man who details the cars who also did a 10/10 on the detail, thank you for getting me back in my dream car! Oh also big shout out to the mascot French bulldog Daphne who always greeted me with warm happy hello barks!

It took 4 weeks to get my car back. I'm assuming cause of COVID but when I got it back it looked beautiful as ever. I had hit an animal and messed up my hood pretty bad. The front desk helpers were very polite and helpful. The mechanics know what they are doing. I wish they had their own warehouse so they could get parts faster. I recommend their service based on my first visit. Thank you so much.

As a district manager for a global auto repair corporation I was very unimpressed with the customer service. I was immediately declined an estimate over them “not working with my insurance company”. Even after I stated I would just pay for it out of pocket to simply have it done (I don’t mind paying for something I need) I received the same reply. Instead I took it to Caliber on Rt 6- night and day difference. The girl @M&S provided terrible customer service and clearly not a very good listener. I hate writing reviews having to deal with them myself all day for accolades or corrective measures- but this instance was absolutely necessary. Avoid this place. Go someplace where they will listen to your needs and correct the situation for you- rather than state the reasons why they won’t.

After my Lexus LS430 was damaged by landscapers I took my vehicle in to paint. Two State Farm Claim numbers 142335158 May 06 2009 and 143026328 Apr 23 2010. Every single area that was painted now has corrosion damage. Second time vehicle was being painted it sustained intentional damage. Mark Levingston speakers and subwoofer was busted on purpose, rubber seals were broken an damaged. Front windshield was not properly installed and who knows why it was removed in a first place. Now Lexus LS430 has serious body damage issues and I will be filing claims under State Farms Lifetime warranty for repairs. I would never ever take any vehicle to this shop.
