Purchased a 2007 Pete from this place. Truck is nice and all, however beware. From the looks of his reviews on other sites this isn’t his only negative encounter. I took extra time to be sure to check all fluids for any discoloring or shavings etc. checked the truck front to back in and out and crawled under it front to back to check wheel seals, u joints, etc etc. the truck appeared in great shape. Test drove it, drove great. However it would surge upon idle indicating a fuel issue or injector issue. Water was in the fuel. Les offered to have it treated prior to purchase and did not. I get the truck back home for a DOT inspection as I didn’t trust the inspection provided at purchase. Truck has been in the shop all week getting the fuel drained tanks cleaned and filters replaced because of water. Upon entering our shop I noticed the rear end was leaking a lot of oil in which it wasn’t when I looked at the truck. There were 3 small holes in the rear end casing. Thus meaning it clearly was washed thoroughly to hide these holes that were located right behind a rear crossmember. I brought this to Les’ attention in which I was ghosted with no response. Truck currently is still in the shop getting a rear end patched. Be careful what you buy from this guy.
