Lida's Tires & Wheels Introduce

For the residents of Guadalupe, Arizona, and the neighboring communities, Lida's Tires & Wheels, situated at 8808 S Avenida del Yaqui, presents itself as a local auto repair station with a specialization in tires and wheels. This establishment caters to the automotive needs of the area, offering both products for sale and essential vehicle services.

Based on available information, the environment of Lida's Tires & Wheels appears to be that of a service-oriented auto shop. While specific details about the shop's ambiance or waiting area are limited, the focus seems to be on efficiency and service delivery, as suggested by the customer reviews. The mention of rapid service indicates a likely setup geared towards quick turnaround times for common automotive needs.

The core services offered by Lida's Tires & Wheels, as indicated by customer experiences, include tire replacement and brake services. One customer enthusiastically reported having all four brakes and tires replaced in under two hours, highlighting the shop's commitment to fast service. This suggests that the facility is equipped to handle these common maintenance tasks efficiently, potentially minimizing inconvenience for customers.

A significant feature of Lida's Tires & Wheels, according to one positive review, is their pricing. The customer explicitly stated that they offered the "best prices in town," which could be a major draw for budget-conscious individuals seeking tire and brake services in the Guadalupe area. This price competitiveness, combined with the reported speed of service, positions Lida's Tires & Wheels as a potentially attractive option for those needing quick and affordable automotive work.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective based on all available information. Another customer shared a negative experience involving damage to lug nuts during a tire installation. This review alleges that the shop's technicians stripped three lug nuts, damaged the studs, and subsequently wanted to charge for the repairs. The customer strongly suggests that the damage was a result of improper installation using an impact wrench. This account raises concerns about the quality of workmanship and the shop's handling of potential errors.

The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of considering all feedback when evaluating a service provider. While one customer experienced "one of the best services" and praised the knowledge and speed, the other reported a significant issue with damage to their vehicle and dissatisfaction with the proposed resolution.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Lida's Tires & Wheels. Auto repair and tire shops sometimes offer seasonal discounts, package deals on tire and brake services, or special offers on specific brands. In conclusion, Lida's Tires & Wheels in Guadalupe, AZ, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, with a focus on tire and wheel services, as well as brake repairs. A key feature appears to be their commitment to fast service and potentially competitive pricing, as highlighted by one customer. However, another customer reported a negative experience involving damage to their vehicle during a service. Prospective customers should consider both positive and negative feedback when making their decisions and may wish to inquire directly about service procedures and any guarantees offered by the shop. They stripped 3 of my lug nuts destroying the studs and wanted to charge me for the repairs. Just prior to bringing it to the shop, I replaced some suspension components myself and had no issues with the threads (started them by hand of course). Went to replace my brakes after having them install 4 tires, and found 1 lug nut that was stripped and spun freely, then two that would not come off and eventually snapped trying to remove. The owner's offer was to fix it at a discount ($40) if I supplied the parts. His excuse was that this could happen if the lug nuts were already damaged. Sorry, BS, your guys were lazy and installed them with an impact wrench.

Traveling between Texas and Arizona for work had me always swapping tires. They are practically my pit crew. I've trusted them with my tire needs for years and have continued to do so without incident. I spun out one time coming back because I dosed off at the wheel (that's my bad) and I took the car in before heading back to have it assessed. They told me my tires were great and that I need not worry. They aren't here to make a quick buck. They are here for customer service and retention. MANUEL and his Son along with the rest of the crew are a good set of guys any should hab3 in their corner

POSSIBLE SCAM ALERT!! Please be aware. my girlfriend Took her car to get a tire a couple days ago and now couple days later the sensor light is coming on the dash. We go back to have him check the tire he indicates the tire is fine but that there’s something wrong with the sensor, now again my girlfriend just took her car there a couple days ago to get a used tire and THEY are the ones that replaced it… obviously the sensor had to be messed up during the time they changed the tire.. why not jsut take accountability and replace it instead of trying to charge us another $75!!! As I was letting him know of that he lost his controlled and started yelling at me to move to the front his store. We are there for a used tire obviously because we can’t afford a new one.. it’s a shame he tried to do this and is even worse if they are messing up sensors on purpose just to get the customer to come back and pay another price, not saying that’s the case but it definitely isn’t something I’m saying isn’t a possibility. Very upsetting as this has been a place I’ve been going for years , definitely wont be back. Next time don’t yell at your customers.

TL;DR: The owner is no longer a decent/honest/nice business man. Go to Discount Tire for stable/reliable service, even a little bit more expensive. ======================================== This review shares my experience with the recent 2 visits to Lida's Tires & Wheels. I came back to them was because I had several good experiences in the past, and the owner was nice at then. However, during my most recent 2 visits, the owner seemed to be totally different person, and no longer a nice/decent business owner. One visit was just to mount a new tire for spare for my SUV. I called in advance to confirm the price, $10 for mounting and $10 for balancing. Upon complete, the owner insisted that I have to pay $5 more because my tire is "big". Well, my tire is certainly at the bigger side of range for a passenger vehicle at about 32". However, I never heard at any other tire shop for extra cost to handle a 32" tire. $5 extra, not really big deal to worth the argument. But, bad business practice as he should have told the customer before working on it. Another visit was to replace 2 tires. The owner wasn't there so his fellow staff greeted and quoted me but insisted me to pay cash. No ATM around the shop and I was recommended to get cash back from the little grocery store nearby. That's not the issue, although I had to buy something I really didn't need. While the boy was working on my tire, the owner came back. After a while, the owner came out from back and yelled to me that "he is the owner and the only person to decide the price". He then demanded me to pay double. I couldn't agree. After his staff communicated with him, he resumed working on my car with emotion. I then noticed that he used the impact to put on the lug nuts and ran the impact for much longer time. I suspected that he intentionally put the lug nuts too tight, so tried to remove the nuts when back to home. MAN, I HAD TO USE A 5 FEE LONG PIPE to break each nut to loose!!!!! I'd suggest you to look at somewhere else for tire service, even his price may sound cheaper at the beginning.
