They are aces. I had been told by a guy at Bay Brakes and Tires that because my original lwheel lug nut key was damaged, unless I had some code for it, sourcing another was impossible, and the only option is to break off all the original custom nuts/bolts and replace with standard wheel nuts/bolts. The cost of this downgrade was estimated at $150. Pursuing due diligence, I visited Lexus Monterey Peninsula Parts. I was in a fairly foul mood at this point and less than optimistic. I was greeted kindly and promptly at the counter by a young fellow named Christian. I explained the issue at hand as well as provided information regarding my original purchase of the vehicle from the Monterey dealership, but including the fact that I have no key code etc. . My delivery of this info was surely conveyed in stressed and less than relaxed manner. Christian was unfazed, smiled and immediately said, "No problem, I can help you -- back in a moment." He disapeared, promptly returning with a small case. He proceeded to patiently go through the entire box of 15 or more lug keys until he found the one that fitted. Throughout this painstaking process he was cheerful, pleasant and efficient. I have been in various jobs in customer service and sales over the years, and we have a saying that good service and good sales are always about "making the customers pain go away". I bought a car in Lexus of Monterey. Chris Roger’s was my sales representative and Markeith Powell financed manager. I don’t recommend purchasing a vehicle here, my experience was horrible, overall horrible customer service. Sales person kept coming in and out of the office. The car was advertise at a price at the end $3,000 extra was added for “accessories and other hidden fees”. Don’t feel pressure and rushed to sign, make sure you ask for itemized pricing. Another thing to look out for is added service warranties. I told the sales agent I did not want this however was still added. On me for not slowing down when signing but they shuffle paper and switched personnel on me several times. Is this a sale tactic?

I wish I had gotten the young man's name that helped me this morning but he was so kind. Even though the Lexus Parts doesn't have the item I wanted which was car seat covers --I asked him how and where to order them and he gave me that information. Then he came out and showed me how to work some of the new gadgets that I did not know how to work on my new Lexus!! I know the salesman probably did tell me when I bought it, but I was information overload at the purchase time. Thanks so much!!

I previously reviewed LMPP negatively as I had a bad experience calling to see if I could order a part, however going there in person turns out to be a much better experience. I’ve now been there a handful of times and staff has been friendly and very helpful, I just wish that my first phone interaction didn’t end with getting hung up on after being put on hold for 10 minutes.
