I’m Chad’s cousin I have not visited his shop yet unfortunately but when I was a kid us at 16 and 17 years old we took engines apart and put them back together very efficiently in our power one class. Since Chad was a kid he has been a professional and very passionate about engines. My uncle has a truck called joes dream and it is an old restored truck also. Chad is the best that I know and probably the best in Michigan and has always been good at mechanics, mathematics and finding friends and co workers that do exceptional work. Knowing him he found the best employees to work for him and I regret not having visited his shop yet.

Chad and his team did a great job with our '89 Dodge Raider. A fun ride that we picked up a few years back, but were running into carburetor issues. Unable to find a replacement, we reached out to Chad and he started figuring out how to convert it to fuel injection. We also talked through options for taking the top off, as this was our fun summer (and nice Spring/Fall day) ride. Chad and his team did a ton of research on finding the right fuel injection, and the best roof options. Chad kept us updated on status (as there was a fair amount of effort to figure out the fuel injection) and pricing options for other items we should consider. What we got back was well beyond what we expected, the roof looks great and works well, and the Raider starts right up (with a little more pep in its step than before, thanks to Mason for walking us through all of the updates). Thanks Chad and team, would recommend to anyone looking to problem-solve or do something different with your car/truck.

Chad and his team did an amazing job with my late grandfather’s 1964 SS Impala. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality workmanship. I looked at quite a few shops before going with Kromrey Kustoms but after seeing the care and attention to detail in their previous projects I found this to be the right fit for my restoration. Chad and his team are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to classic restoration from the ground up and take a lot of pride in their work. They will work with you to make you’re project exactly what you’re looking for. They made some excellent suggestions along the way to really make this car really unique with a pearl white with a subtle frost blue that pops in the right light. They are very flexible and make sure their work is flawless. Thanks Chad and co! I’ll definitely be bringing my next classic car to them.

Brought in my 1970 Chevelle, alot of work needed to be done, fans, alternator, electrical, efi work, full coilover suspension swap and more. Chad and his crew did excellent work and didnt overcharge or slow walk the tasks. Chad is genuinely a good person and is probably one of the smartest individuals I know. The shop went out of their way for me on multiple occasions, and unlike some shops your not just another cog in the wheel. Kromrey will be doing the body and paint work in the near future. It will be a show stopper when complete. Only crew I trust to work on a 54 year old car and do it right.

Kromrey Kustoms is a first class auto restoration shop. Chad, the owner, drove 4 hours to inspect the 1969 Chevrolet C20 pickup truck that we were interested in to verify that it was in good working condition without rust or any unknown or hidden defects that could be a nightmare to fix. He helped us negotiate the price down, which more than covered the cost of his inspection and transportation of the truck back to Howell. The truck wasn't safe to drive when we first got it, with very soft brakes, wobbly steering, and a gas tank in the cab. Chad and the guys got it up and running great with very strong brakes and solid steering and the gas tank under the bed. Now we can drive it all over town! Looking forward to more upgrades in the future. Thanks guys!
