Jim's Fillmore Towing

Great service. We had a flat tire and called our insurance for roadside service but they could not get help to us. Will be cancelling that coverage. Called 3 other tow companies with no help. Jim’s apologize d for us having to sit for 3 hours. They were there within 3o minutes and had us back on the road within another 30 minutes. Driver very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank You for your speedy and reasonable cost. So appreciated.

Didn’t have to wait too long although the office was a bit tricky to find off you’re from out of town. FYI it’s in the gas station (roll up door) Everyone was nice from the guy that answered the phone, the driver and the other driver we had to meet up with to get the car. Overall they’re a great bunch of guys. Sorry I can’t remember names. Price was reasonable considering how expensive towing is.

This towing company picked up my truck because I had moved it out my of my driveway to have some palm Trees trimmed.by a tree service company. He said SPPD called and requested he tow my truck. I understand it’s not supposed to be driven with a non opt. He stated it was parked for 6 months in the street in front of my home. I explained to him that’s impossible because I haven’t had it at my address for 3 years and I recently had it painted and I was going to get my tags when they expire in 13 days. As soon as the tree trimmers were done I would be moving it back inside my driveway..considering the safety issues and liability issues we Thought it was best moved for both of us. They showed up late afternoon Friday.,making it impossible to get the paper work from DMV & SPPD..coincidence? I have my doubts now. this morning when I arrived @ jims towing the customer service was non existent. I was told I owed $675 for the weekend stay. That’s 6.6miles away! at a cost of $102.27 a mile. I asked how do you justify charging that steep Of a price.he never answered the question. I asked how can you feel good ripping people off? He became even more unprofessional if that’s possible.when it was obviously set at a very low bar too began with. I read the reviews before arriving. It’s robbery what they charged and if you don’t pay they constantly adding charges till you can’t afford it and the become the new owners. Why the city of Santa Paula would continue doing business with This kind of rip offs is beyond me. Stay clear of Jim’s towing if you don’t want to pay oil company prices $102.27 a mile let that sink in. Total price today.. DMV $424 had to pay for 2022 & 2023 SPPD $62 Jim’s towing $675 for a grand total of $ 1,164 …why couldn’t they have given me a citation it wasn’t blocking parking as stated in the report. It was right In front of my home on a residential street. Not being driven on a highway. Ridiculous scam!!!

Very unprofessional. I paid to get my car out of there with triple A. I was taking stuff out of my car and one guy told me I was taking too long and didn't allow me to continue taking stuff out. Also some stuff was missing from my car! A speaker and sunglasses. I expressed myself and he got agressive and started calling me names. Then he threw a bag of dirt on my truck that I used to pick up my stuff. Do Not use this tow company!

I am an advocate of supporting local owned businesses, however should have utilized a different towing service. Contacted the office and was hung up on twice by the man that answered. I would normally say gentleman, but that implies someone that is polite and considerate. Take your business elsewhere.
