Interstate Batteries Distributor

When I need a battery for any car or truck I own or have worked on, this is the place I call first!!... beyond even that, any time anyone mentions they are having problems with there battery, I exclusively send them here... if you're still reading, then you like the deets, so here they are... I used to go to the other parts stores that there isn't any shortage of, or the "alMartWay" if u catch my drift, but I found that the part stores only "check" your battery for free because they want to sell you the most expensive battery they have, and the device they have to check it with has an extremely low tolerance for voltage variations in slightly worn alternators, so then they get to sell you an even more expensive alternator, which they convince you probably wore out your battery so now you have a battery you can install, and an alternator you'll have to find someone to install for you, hopefully they know what they're doing because there is 5 times as many people that will say they can as there are part stores and no licensed mechanic business will install an alternator you bought somewhere else, because then they can't charge you double for the same alternator, and then there's the labor involved, which surely cost more than the part... plus, who's to say it really took them 4 hours at $90+ per hour? I'm sorry it seems like a ramble at this point, but it's all "facts on printer," as the kids say... go to interstate and get an unbiased free battery AND charging system check, the battery options they have range from less than half what you pay elsewhere, who wants to pay triple for a battery that will outlast a 10-15 yr old car that has 85k+ miles on it anyway? and they don't have alternators for sale, so their check isn't weighted for replacing it!! To date I have bought 4 used batteries from them for 4 different vehicles, haven't had to replace 1 yet 5 yrs running, and recommended them for countless friends, family, coworkers and others almost all have been pleased with the outcome.. it's a no-brainer for me!!!!
