Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Introduce

Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair, located at 460 Caredean Dr, Horsham, PA 19044, USA, presents itself as an "Auto Repair Station" specializing in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and emergency roadside assistance. This establishment primarily caters to trucks and trailers, offering mobile repair services around the clock. For local users in Horsham and the broader Philadelphia suburban area, this service is designed to address breakdowns and repair needs directly on-site, aiming to minimize downtime for commercial and heavy vehicles. They can be reached at (888) 589-9281 or via mobile at +1 888-589-9281.

The environment of Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair is distinct from a traditional brick-and-mortar auto repair shop. While they have a physical address in Horsham, their primary operational environment is the road itself, as they provide "24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair." This means their "shop" is essentially their fleet of service trucks, which are equipped to perform repairs on-site. These mobile units are typically outfitted with a comprehensive array of tools, including diagnostic scanners for heavy-duty vehicles, air compressors, welders, torches, and a stock of commonly used parts. The dispatch center, likely located at their Horsham address, serves as the operational hub for coordinating mobile technicians, taking calls, and managing schedules. While customers might visit the physical location for specific reasons, the emphasis is on bringing the repair service directly to the client's location, whether it's a truck stop, roadside, or a fleet yard. This mobile model is designed for convenience, especially for commercial drivers who need quick solutions to get back on the road.

Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair offers a focused range of services tailored to commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. Their core offering is 24/7 mobile roadside assistance and repair for trucks and trailers. This includes emergency services for issues that can disable a vehicle on the road, such as: tire repair and replacement; air brake system issues; engine diagnostics, particularly for diesel engines, including DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system repair and forced regeneration; electrical system troubleshooting (alternators, starters, lighting issues); suspension repair and maintenance; and various other mechanical repairs that can be performed on-site. They also handle fleet services, providing maintenance and repair solutions for companies with multiple vehicles. The business aims to offer quick repairs to prevent accidents or further damage, often emphasizing savings on towing costs by performing repairs directly at the breakdown location. Some services may also include addressing EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooler and valve failures and general preventative maintenance for heavy vehicles. They aim to perform a high percentage of repairs on-site, highlighting the convenience of their mobile service.

The key features of Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair, as advertised, are their 24/7 availability and the mobility of their service. The ability to dispatch qualified and experienced technicians to a client's location at any time, day or night, is a significant advantage for commercial trucking and transport businesses. Their mobile service trucks are equipped with advanced diagnostic systems (like Pro-Link ECM scanners and Diesel Laptops diagnostics systems) tailored for heavy-duty vehicles, allowing for accurate problem identification on the spot. This tech-driven approach is a crucial feature. They often highlight their experienced technicians, who are trained to handle a wide range of diesel engine and trailer issues. The emphasis on quick response times and efficient on-site repairs is also a prominent feature, designed to minimize downtime and keep commercial operations moving. Furthermore, their goal of establishing "transparent and dependable business partnerships" suggests an aim for long-term client relationships built on trust and clear communication, particularly important in the fleet services sector.

Regarding promotional information, businesses like Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair often emphasize their emergency service and availability. Their "24 Hour" in the name is a direct promotional message. They would likely highlight their ability to save customers money on towing fees by offering on-site repairs. Partnerships with large trucking companies or commercial fleets are a common promotional strategy, often offering account-based services for convenience. Online presence, including a website detailing their services, coverage area, and capabilities (e.g., specific diesel engine expertise), is essential. Testimonials from satisfied fleet managers or truck drivers would be used to build credibility. Given the nature of their business, direct outreach to logistics companies, construction firms, and owner-operators is also likely. However, specific promotional offers such as discounts on services or loyalty programs are not detailed in the provided information. Customers are encouraged to inquire directly about their pricing structure and any special offers when contacting them.

However, customer reviews for Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair present significant and serious concerns that potential customers must consider carefully. One detailed review describes a highly negative experience involving an RV generator replacement. The customer reported being quoted a $200 fee for a service call, which was paid as a deposit. Shortly before the technician's arrival, an additional charge of $4 per mile was imposed due to the technician driving from another job, adding an unexpected $84. This undisclosed per-mile charge, along with a subsequent $100 cancellation fee (also undisclosed initially) when the customer decided to cancel due to the unexpected costs and finding a cheaper alternative, led to the customer feeling "ripped off" and describing the experience as "a complete rip off and a waste of time." The review also raised a red flag about the business's online presence, noting that their "website advertises Mesa Arizona but the Google reviews are saying it’s in Pennsylvania," leading to "scam vibes."

Another review reinforces issues with pricing and professional conduct, specifically concerning heavy-duty truck repairs. A customer stated that "Not only did the owner try to total take advantage of my bf by claiming he needed extra work but also trying to well over charge him." This claim of overcharging and recommending unnecessary work is a severe accusation. Furthermore, the review adds, "This man was also extremely belligerent to his employees. A terrible place with horrible management. I would never recommend this business. EVER!!!" This suggests a problematic internal work environment and management style, which can often translate to poor customer service and unreliable repairs. The BBB profile for "Interstate Fleet Service" at the same Horsham address indicates that the business is "NOT BBB Accredited" and has a "Failure to respond to 3 complaint(s) filed against business."

These reviews collectively paint a picture of a business with significant transparency issues regarding pricing, undisclosed fees, potential overcharging, and highly questionable customer service and management practices. The discrepancy in advertised locations further adds to concerns. Given these severe negative feedback points, potential customers, especially those with expensive commercial vehicles or RVs, should exercise extreme caution, ensure all fees and charges are explicitly outlined in writing before agreeing to any service, and consider alternative providers for their truck and trailer repair needs.

Interstate - 24 Hour Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Customer Reviews

My husband called this company this morning in regards to our RV Generator being replaced. They said they would be here this afternoon and it would be a $200 fee to come out and take a look at the RV. We said that that is standard and it is fine so my husband paid the $200 deposit. We just received a phone call 20 minutes before the guy was supposed to be here and said well because we have to drive from another job in Chandler. We have to charge you four dollars an additional mile which would make it another $84 on top of the $200 deposit we already paid so it would be $284 for you just to come look at our RV without even doing anything?? That was never disclosed in the initial agreement. We told them to go ahead and cancel it because we had found someone for literally half of the price they then told us that it was going to be $100 cancellation fee, which was never disclosed when we discussed business with them earlier this morning. This was a complete rip off and a waste of time. If I knew from the beginning, we’d have to pay per mile because you decided to take a job that was out of the way I would’ve never agreed for this company to come out. On top of that, A cancellation fee of $100 is ridiculous especially when it wasn’t even our fault. And on top of everything, their website advertises Mesa Arizona but the Google reviews are saying it’s in Pennsylvania. It’s just giving scam vibes.

This establishment is terrible. My bf has a diesel truck and a few days ago he had a few issues with it. Not only did the owner try to total take advantage of my bf by claiming he needed extra work but also trying to well over charge him. I know this due to my father being a mechanic/diesel mechanic. This man was also extremely belligerent to his employees. A terrible place with horrible management. I would never recommend ti's business. EVER!!!

I had an extremely unprofessional experience with a technician named George M., who was supposed to work on my tractor trailer. He showed up late and then spent over six hours doing absolutely nothing to address the issue. Instead of working, he stood around smoking cigarettes, cursing loudly, and wasting time. He kept telling me that he was gonna go home to change his clothes and chill with his wife and that he’ll get back to it when he feel like it. To make matters worse, he drove up the wrong access roads like he didn't care about rules or safety protocols. It was clear he had no urgency or real intention of fixing anything-just dragging things out for no reason. When you're dealing with commercial vehicles and tight schedules, you expect a technician to be focused, respectful, and efficient. George M. was none of those things. I would not recommend him to anyone who takes their business or equipment seriously.

I called to set service they assured me roadside would take care of service and I would get a call from dispatch with eta. Almost 2 hours later dispatch calls me I can hear the girl on the phone argueing with another girl telling her the other company was going to have to get service tomorrow because we called in first. I get 60-90 mins eta. About 10 mins later in get a call from the girl she was argueing with telling me they can't go out to roadcall because tech has already done 2 calls today. Very unprofessional! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM.
