Insane Asylum Motorsports Introduce
Insane Asylum Motorsports, located at 2450 W Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202, USA, operates within a niche segment of the automotive industry, primarily focusing on custom motorcycle parts and modifications. While the overarching platform category is "Auto Repair Stations," it's important to clarify that Insane Asylum Motorsports does not appear to be a general auto repair shop for everyday passenger vehicles. Instead, its specialized services and products cater to the custom motorcycle market, particularly high-end Harley-Davidson modifications, making it a specialized automotive service provider rather than a typical repair station for all vehicle types.
The "Auto Repair Stations" category broadly encompasses businesses that provide mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance services for various automotive vehicles. While Insane Asylum Motorsports doesn't perform routine maintenance on standard cars, its focus on custom fabrication, part sales, and installation for motorcycles fits within the broader definition of providing specialized services and goods for sale within the automotive realm. They are less about fixing a broken daily driver and more about enhancing, customizing, and building unique motorcycles.
Regarding the environment of Insane Asylum Motorsports, based on its specialization, one can infer a facility designed to handle custom fabrication and intricate motorcycle assembly. Such a facility would typically feature a workshop area equipped with specialized tools for working with fiberglass, custom audio installations, and motorcycle chassis modifications. Given their focus on high-quality parts, the facility would likely be organized to protect delicate custom components. A showroom or display area might also be present to showcase their custom parts and completed builds, allowing potential customers to visualize the possibilities for their own motorcycles. Located on W Broadway Rd in Mesa, AZ, it is situated in a commercial area, suggesting easy access for customers seeking specialized services for their motorcycles. While direct visual information is limited, the nature of their business demands a professional, well-equipped, and potentially aesthetically engaging space to align with the high-end customization they offer.
The services and goods offered by Insane Asylum Motorsports are highly specialized, primarily catering to custom motorcycle enthusiasts. Their core offerings include:
High-Quality Fiberglass Parts: They specialize in crafting custom, hand-laid fiberglass parts, particularly for Harley-Davidson Street Glide, Road Glide, and Road King models. These parts often include custom bagger parts, such as saddlebags, fairings, and lowers, designed for both aesthetic enhancement and functional integration, especially with advanced audio systems.
Custom Motorcycle Builds: Insane Asylum Motorsports is involved in comprehensive custom motorcycle builds, transforming standard bikes into unique, "one-of-a-kind masterpieces." This involves extensive customization of various components to meet specific design and performance goals.
Motorcycle Audio Systems: A significant portion of their business revolves around high-end motorcycle audio. They offer advanced audio solutions, including custom audio lids, front stage systems (like the "Road Glide Ultimate Front Stage 3-way System"), and competition-level tour packs (e.g., "X48 Tour Pack") designed for superior sound clarity and projection. This often involves integrating powerful speakers, amplifiers, and meticulously designed enclosures.
Performance Motorcycle Accessories: Beyond aesthetics and audio, they also provide performance-enhancing accessories, suggesting an understanding of both the visual and mechanical aspects of motorcycle customization.
Parts Sales: Customers can purchase their custom-designed and crafted parts directly from them, with parts coming in a gel coat finish, requiring final fitment and prep before painting.
The features of Insane Asylum Motorsports, as indicated by the customer reviews, reveal a mixed but insightful picture:
Specialization and Knowledge: One positive review highlights "Highest quality fiberglass parts and most knowledgeable in the industry." This suggests deep expertise in custom fiberglass fabrication and motorcycle modification, which is a significant advantage for customers seeking specialized services.
Custom Craftsmanship: Their emphasis on "meticulously crafted" and "one-of-a-kind" parts underscores a commitment to bespoke solutions rather than mass-produced items. This appeals to customers looking for unique enhancements.
Timely Delivery (Positive Aspect): The positive review notes, "you get your parts on time and as promised!" This indicates efficiency and reliability in production and delivery, a crucial factor in custom orders.
Customer Service Challenges (Negative Aspect): However, a significant negative review points to severe issues with customer service and product reliability: "Worse company to buy anything from. Bought an audio tour pack and it will not latch. Called several times, Facebook them, and emailed them. Spent 1550 for something that I can’t use. Talked to guy named Scott he was no help at all. Do not waste your time with this place they don’t stand behind their product." This feedback highlights a critical area of concern, specifically regarding product functionality and post-sale support, suggesting potential inconsistencies in quality control or customer resolution processes. The accusation of not standing behind their product is a serious one for any business.
Made to Order: Their website often emphasizes that products are "made to order," implying a personalized approach, but also potentially leading to varying lead times for production.
Promotional information for Insane Asylum Motorsports would typically focus on their unique specialization. While specific current promotions are not explicitly available, their marketing strategies would likely revolve around:
Showcasing Custom Builds: High-quality photography and videography of their completed custom motorcycles and installed parts would be a primary promotional tool, often shared on their website and social media channels (they have a presence on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).
Highlighting Expertise: Emphasizing their "most knowledgeable in the industry" status and the "highest quality fiberglass parts" would attract discerning customers looking for expert craftsmanship.
Targeted Advertising: Marketing efforts would likely target motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly Harley-Davidson owners interested in customization, through motorcycle-specific forums, events, and publications.
Direct Sales and Online Store: Their website indicates they offer parts directly for sale, which is a key promotional channel. They also provide contact information (phone: (480) 219-7117, mobile: +1 480-219-7117, email: Sales@insaneasylummotorsports.com) for inquiries and orders.
Financing Options: Their website mentions new financing options, which can be a significant promotional point for customers investing in high-value custom parts and builds.
The conflicting customer reviews suggest that while Insane Asylum Motorsports possesses considerable expertise in custom fabrication and product quality (at least for some customers), there might be inconsistencies in product reliability or customer service for others. Businesses in the highly specialized custom market often rely heavily on reputation and word-of-mouth. Positive experiences, like receiving parts on time and as promised, are crucial, but negative experiences, especially concerning product functionality and lack of support, can significantly damage that reputation. For local users in Mesa, AZ, considering Insane Asylum Motorsports, it would be prudent to review their specific needs against the services offered, and perhaps engage in direct communication to clarify product warranties and return policies, especially for high-value custom components.

Ordering parts, talking to their experts and buying parts is extremely easy and efficient. They offer clear tracking numbers and the buying experience as a whole is top notch!

I can't return the merchandise after 2 weeks ... They never sent all of the items I purchased which messed up my project for my sound system... Spen your money local

I can't return some lids because they said returns aren't there thing. Garbage company to deal with. After waiting 2 weeks to get the lids, I had to do something to get my project done for a show. Probably the reason for the turn around time is because they don't stock anything like a real business. Spend your money elsewhere!!!
