Hunt's Auto Collision Repair Customer Reviews

Mr. Chris Hunt and his office manager (Jessica) have always treated my family extremely well. His repair work is excellent. Also, it amazes me that they remember my family and know my first name. It is a standing joke in my family that I get into accidents so often that even the body shop knows me on a first name basis. But the reality is that I haven't been in that many fender benders, rather Chris and Jessica go out of their way to be friendly and to try to remember their customers names. Also, I have gone there twice for just minor issues--for advice--and they ended up fixing them for free! They are the best in my opinion.

Had work done on my charger. New hood and wing installed with matching paint and touch ups done. Paint had bubbles in it and when I contacted them about fixing it I was yelled at and told if I wanted to judge their work to just go somewhere else. Well they called back 2 days later and apologized offering to correct it. After them having my car for over 2 weeks I finally got it back only to find mass amounts of spiders all throughout my new car along with 2 new bad spots! Never contacted them again and wouldnt suggest you to either!

Huge disappointment. Hunts over promised and under delivered. My classic car was at Hunts facility in Florence for three years. No work order or written estimate was ever provided. The cost far exceeded expectations. The quality of the body work was good and the paint job was acceptable, but not for three years and about $25,000. Guess they saw me coming. They generally didn’t return phone calls or answer emails. They are good at asking for another $5,000. Original parts turned up missing. Once they finished painting the car and re-installed all the parts (that they could find), I picked the car up and never went back.

This started off okay. I was looking to have my truck painted a different color, Chris quoted me a price and told me to bring it in February. I went in the second week of February and was told by Tommy that they had 2 painters quit, to bring it back the end of March. I did that, dropped it off, gave all the information they asked for, only to be called almost a week later to tell me they had people quit and the quote they gave me would not cover a change of color. The "owner" Tommy started to argue with me and hung up on me, threatened my boyfriend to call the sheriff. These people are scammers, wanted more money, and decided not to do my truck, then blame me for misunderstanding. They treat customers terribly.
