DO NOT TRUST. Brought my car to ford because I have a 2017 ford edge sport and has a noise coming from rear diff. I knew that it could be a bad diff but I wanted them to check it out without me saying it was a bad diff. $180 got me a list of things that yeah I probably needed but on there was a new rear diff with a price tag of $4700. $3300 for the part and $1200 in labor. I asked how they figured out it was bad and they said they took apart the drive shaft and it still made noise. Moving on I took it too Tuffy in elgin because they said they could do it for $3500 $2500 for part $800 in labor. Told them what ford did to figure out that the problem was the diff and left it with them. When I went to pick up my car after the fix they asked me again was ford did to figure out the problem and I told them. Even tho ford was right about the diff I already knew it was the diff because it was leaking. Tuffy said there were no signs that anything was looked into the way they said it was and the whole exhaust would of had to come out. So why I’m doing a review is that I tried to do the ford route and maybe it’s just this location. But to lie to me saying such and such was removed to be sure that was the problem is why again I lost trust in service at a dealership. Don’t stand there and try to feel the pain of that expense and say it was thoroughly checked. So for anyone going there be cautious and get second opinions or go to Tuffy in elgin where you don’t feel like your talking to a snake
