We had 2 Hondas, a 2016 Odyssey, and a 2018 pilot. In Oct 2023, the Odyssey had a flashing check engine light, so we immediately took it in. The light turned off, and they couldn't find anything wrong. I made them keep it a few days to see if it would come on, and it did not. According to them, there was no code history, and this is where they went wrong. My mechanic that I use for a classic car that I own was kind enough to come to my home with his crazy scanner, and he pulled the code history. The code history revealed misfires and several other things pointing to the piston ring issue that happens with these vtech engines. Keep in mind that the dealership told me there was no code history at all. There have been class action lawsuits about this very same issue in earlier years of the same model. My best friend had the same year, same van, and it happened to her too. My van was a dealership maintained 2016 with only 70k miles on it. My personal mechanic advised me to get rid of it asap, and I did just that. I left Honda due to the run around. This was a widespread issue in previous years, and they played me for a fool, which I do not take litely. Of course, all of this made me not trust my 2018 Pilot. So I started to research to trade that in, and I did just that on 2/5. Talk about perfect timing a week to the day after trading in my pilot I got a letter for a recall on it that there isn't a fix for until fall! Also important to mention a few years back we had a part of the drivetrain break while under warranty and they tried to tell us that it was not part of the drive train. Naturally we called Honda corporate just to double check and sure enough it was part of the drive train they just didn't want to deal with the warranty. Corporate was not amused.

Friendly, professional, and courteous. We don't buy our vehicles here because they are the most expensive place to buy, but their service is top notch. The renovations to the waiting area are very nice, clean, and comfortable with complementary drinks. Every service place tries to up charge on on stuff but these guys at least keep it to a minimum. I'm giving 5 stars because this is a review for just the service. There is no loyalty to previous customers in the sales department, but I always feel well take care of when visiting their service.
