Hicksville Car Care

We came here for the first time because we didn’t have time to go to our usual car center. My husband went to this place simply to replace engine oil and it took 2.5 hours. He went at 8 am when it opens… Service was okay, but a little more costly than other places.

I’ve been going to this mechanic for years and I highly recommend this spot if you don’t have a go-to mechanic. Owner is honest and very knowledgeable.

There work was good. But the owner was extremely rude to me, cursing at me over the phone when I was being nothing but nice and asking questions. Overall just not a nice guy.

I have a very dependable, but older car, so having reliable mechanics is very important to me. I first came to this shop a few months ago and have used them for several repairs since then. Based on the repairs and discussions from those visits, I am confident in saying that Hicksville Car Care provides very competent, careful repair work and genuinely honest advice, at a reasonable cost. I am delighted to have found them to care for my car.

I have an older car that my son uses for college. Routine and demand repairs seem to happen every couple of months. The guys in the shop are very fair and make the required repairs to keep me on the road at the best possible cost. I've used them for 20+ years and have always been happy and also recommend friends and coworkers to them. Can't find any reason why I would switch.
