Located conveniently at 124 W Academy St, Gainesville, GA 30501, USA, Harrison Oil & Tire stands as a well-established automotive service center catering to the diverse needs of local vehicle owners. Operating within the “Auto Repair Stations” category, this establishment functions as a crucial hub for both routine vehicle maintenance and essential auto parts, providing a comprehensive solution for keeping vehicles running smoothly and safely on the road.

Harrison Oil & Tire positions itself as a multifaceted automotive service provider. Their primary function is to offer a wide array of auto repair and maintenance services. This includes, but is not limited to, tire sales, installation, rotation, and balancing, which are fundamental to vehicle safety and performance. As their name suggests, oil changes are a core service, crucial for engine longevity and efficiency. Beyond these staples, an auto repair station typically handles brake services, battery checks and replacements, fluid flushes, suspension work, and engine diagnostics. For instance, addressing issues like shaking and wheel pulling, as mentioned in customer feedback, falls directly within the scope of services an auto repair station is expected to competently perform, indicating the breadth of their capabilities. The provision of corresponding services or goods for sale means that not only can they perform repairs and maintenance, but they also stock and sell the necessary auto parts, such as tires, oils, filters, brake pads, and other components required for vehicle upkeep.

While specific details about the interior environment of Harrison Oil & Tire are not explicitly provided, a typical auto repair station like this would generally feature a waiting area for customers, often equipped with seating, possibly a television, and perhaps Wi-Fi, to ensure a comfortable experience while their vehicle is being serviced. The service bay area would be characterized by a well-organized layout with multiple lifts, specialized tools, and diagnostic equipment necessary for various automotive tasks. Cleanliness and orderliness in such an environment are usually indicators of professionalism and efficiency. The exterior would likely include clear signage, ample parking for customers, and easy access from the street, contributing to a welcoming and accessible presence within the community.

The services offered at Harrison Oil & Tire are extensive, falling under the umbrella of a full-service auto repair station. Their core offerings revolve around tires and oil, as their name suggests. This includes tire sales, installation, patching, rotation, and balancing. Oil changes are a fundamental service, crucial for engine health and longevity. Beyond these, a comprehensive auto repair station like Harrison Oil & Tire is expected to provide a range of general automotive repairs and maintenance. This often includes brake inspection and repair, ensuring the vehicle's stopping power is optimal. Wheel alignment services are critical for even tire wear and proper vehicle handling, a service highlighted in customer feedback. They would also typically handle suspension and steering repairs, battery testing and replacement, and routine fluid services. While specific details about all their services are not exhaustive, the nature of an “Auto Repair Station” implies a broad spectrum of care for most vehicle makes and models.

One of the key features of Harrison Oil & Tire, as gleaned from customer reviews, appears to be their capacity to handle specific repair challenges, such as the instance of overtightened and broken lugs on a truck tire. This suggests a certain level of technical expertise and problem-solving capability. The positive feedback highlights an appreciation for "customer service and amazing support," indicating a focus on client satisfaction and effective communication, which are valuable attributes for any service-oriented business. The ability to promptly address and repair an issue, as described by one customer, underscores their operational efficiency and commitment to resolving problems. However, it's also important to acknowledge that customer experiences can vary. The contrasting review, mentioning issues with persistent shaking and misalignment after service, suggests that consistency in certain specialized services, such as wheel alignment, might be an area of focus. This provides an objective view of their service delivery, showcasing both successes and areas where some customers have experienced challenges.

Regarding promotional information, while specific current promotions are not provided, an auto repair station like Harrison Oil & Tire would typically engage in various forms of promotion to attract and retain customers. This could include seasonal discounts on tire purchases or installation, package deals for routine maintenance such as oil changes combined with tire rotations, or special offers on brake services. Loyalty programs, where repeat customers receive discounts or perks, are also common. They might also leverage local advertising channels, such as community newspapers, online directories, or social media platforms, to announce new services or special pricing. Given their location, local word-of-mouth and positive customer experiences would also serve as a significant form of promotion. Businesses in this category often use their online presence to list services, showcase testimonials, and provide ways for customers to schedule appointments or inquire about parts and services.

In summary, Harrison Oil & Tire at 124 W Academy St, Gainesville, GA 30501, USA, functions as a comprehensive Auto Repair Station, providing a crucial service to the local community. They offer a range of essential automotive services, from basic oil changes and tire services to more complex repairs and diagnostics. Harrison Oil & Tire Customer Reviews

I recently had an unfortunate incident with my rear passenger truck tire. The lugs were over tightened and broke. I returned the truck for inspection/ repair and Harrison Oil & Tire did a great job making the repair. I appreciate the customer service and amazing support! I would highly recommend using this location for all your vehicle’s maintenance. Thank you again! George Tallent

Harris was my husband's go to tire shop in the past but not anymore. The last couple years my car left there twice the same way, still shaking and out of alignment. I finally took it to Oakwood tire and my car is driving smooth with no shaking and no wheel pulling. My honest belief is they weren't doing right or not at all. I do not recommend this place to family and friends any longer. I suggest you go to Oakwood tire

They got my car In the shop the same day I brought it their then they replaced almost the whole front end suspension, and turned around and had it back to me the next day by 3pm. Highly recommended for decently priced labor and accurate pricing on the parts! Update I got a new car and had front end problems. Brought the car in and they did a full break job on my car and it took less then 3 hours or so I believe. These guys are just amazing. Thank you so much Harrison Tire!!! I’ll be back in soon.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at an auto repair facility a more, if I could rate in the negatives, I would. I dropped my vehicle off when they opened at 8 am for an oil change, tire rotation, 4-wheel tire alignment, and a tire repair in my rear driver side tire that was leaking air from a nail. I was told I would receive a call when they were finished and it would be done that day. 1 pm rolled by, no phone call. 3 pm rolled by, no phone call. By the 3 PM time point, and 8 hours having passed, I decided to give them a call to see if there were any hiccups with any of the maintenance that I had asked for because I felt it shouldn’t take that long and it had put my entire day on hold having no vehicle. I was told he needed to check on my vehicle and he’d call me back. About 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from him telling me that my truck had just gotten put on the rack, that it had been a busy day and they couldn’t get to it until now. That seemed absolutely outrageous to me considering I dropped it off when they opened and it was pretty “routine” maintenance that I asked for. About 30 minutes later I received A phone call stating that my vehicle is ready for pick up, but that they cannot complete the tire alignment or the tire rotation due to the condition of my tires and that I would need new tires. This meant I waited nine hours for an oil change and a tire repair! If I wanted an oil change done, I could have went to a drive thru oil change facility, but it gets worse. I go to pick up the vehicle, and while I was thankful they did not charge me for my tire repair, I found out that was for the best. I got in my truck with the tire pressure still low, I got in my truck with the tire at 34 PSI (It should’ve been at 37 PSI). This was 4:30 pm. By 8:30 pm, the tire pressure had dropped again, now to 29 PSI. I was pretty irritated that it was obvious that the tire repair was not done correctly or was not performed at all, I found out later. It seems that it was performed incorrectly. I filled my tire up to 37 PSI at around 9 pm that night. By the next night at 8 pm, my tire pressure had dropped to 22 PSI! This was absolutely insane as before when I had the nail inside of my tire, I would only lose about two PSI a day and now I am loosing about 15 PSI a day and am terrified to drive my own vehicle. I have made an appointment for tomorrow to have the new four tires I purchased, from Firestone today, installed. If anybody manages to read to the end of this post, do not go here if you care about your time or your safety.

We’ve used Harrison for tires and fuel for years both for business and personal vehicles. They’ve always been beyond helpful getting us back on the road for both. Now retired and moved a state away, They STILL are going above and beyond. Need tires and info about our last set there and Tracy helped find a great alternative for our new needs. Even though we aren’t there now they will still be our recommendation for our friends and family and even us if we are there and in need. Thanks guys!
