Harold's Frame Shop

On 9/17/2024 I took my car to Harold's Frame Shop asked them to check my front control arms for damage. I was asked if I had any other problems and I stated no. I informed that staff of the work I had done including wheel alignment. The other place who did my alignment was not able to line it up correctly saying I needed Front Control Arms and I was to return it to them to have them redo alignment at no charge once I got Front Control Arms fix. Harold's Frame Shop told me for them to check Front Control Arms I would be charged $21.00 and if I decided to have it fix that $21.00 would go towards repair. I agreed for them to check my Front Control Arms only and nothing else. The mechanic checked my car and stated nothing was wrong with my Front Control Arms. They checked my alignment without my consent stated the numbers where off and wanted to give an alignment and I told them I didn't want alignment. I was told by the same person who wrote up the order that it's gonna be more than $21.00 for the time the mechanic put in. When I questioned him stating that he told me It was going to cost me only $21.00 for them to check my Front Control Arms, he suddenly got belligerent, hostile with me. He yelled so loud you would have heard him miles away stating,"he worked on your car 1 1/2 hours, I will pay him take your car else where to get alignment don't come back here, I had 2 heart attacks I don't want another one". I stood there as he lashed out at me for know reason, humiliated me in front of the customers and other workers. When I asked for the manager he was standing a few feet away from the hostile staff along with other workers and said NOTHING!!! I was angry and couldn't believe what I just experienced being under attack for know reason. I stated how I didn't appreciate him going off on me for know reason and that I didn't approve for them to do or check anything else other than my Front Control Arms in which the mechanic found nothing wrong. I also questioned them about how they gave me a price to check my car and changed the price. I stated to them that they should not take it upon themselves to do other services and not inform customers first. I addressed the hostile staff further referring to the way he acted and the likely cause of his health problems is him. The manager told me that I didn't owe anything ($21.00), but sadly he didn't offer me an apology regarding his rude staff. A female worker who stood near the manager stated to him, "he was wrong ". I replied "yes he was". It's all about respect, providing good customer service which was not provided that day. In spite of what happened on that dayI wish that staff good health.

The mechanics are experts! I dealt with Tom through the entire repair process. Tom haunted down a difficult part to find, which saved my car from being salvaged. The communication was excellent. My car feels so much better and is much safer to drive.

They were recommended by one of my colleagues so I use them for the first time they were very professional fix the truck in one day gave me a great estimate and a discount and it is a beautiful huge place they recommended.

These guys do the best work around! Don't waste your time anywhere else. Get the work done right the first time at Harolds. These guys are experts!

I feel like these people discriminated against me from the moment I walked in the door. They gave me such a high and ridiculous price. I almost could not believe it. This place is very biased.

I didnt have any work done here but I was looking into getting an estimate for some rust repair on my truck. I called back in Dec 3rd of 24 and was told to either go up to the shop or send some pics through email. Well I don’t live nearby the shop and have my own full time job on the weekdays. 2 out of the 3 emails I was given to send the pics over wouldn’t go through or even recognize these emails as being legit. So I sent an email to Shelly as instructed, no response. So I called again today on Feb 21, 2025 because i still want the work done if possible. Now I was given another email that doesn’t register and the guy on the phone just chuckles and goes “well idk what to tell you”. Like wtf man? give me a number I can just send the damn pictures to at this point it’s been three months without a response and he tells me the email I sent to Shelly is “long gone” what a load of bs. just unprofessional and honestly don’t even want to deal with them so I’ll look elsewhere.
