Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center Introduce

Located at 1187 N Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432, **Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center** operates as a prominent establishment within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, serving the local community with a dual focus on tire sales and comprehensive automotive repair. Reachable at (937) 426-0183 or via mobile at +1 937-426-0183, this center is part of a larger chain, aiming to provide a wide array of services designed to keep vehicles safe and running efficiently. However, recent customer feedback indicates a mixed experience, highlighting both the breadth of services and areas of potential concern regarding customer relations and service execution.

The **environment** at Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center, like many tire and auto service centers, is typically designed to accommodate both vehicle servicing and customer waiting. One would expect a showroom area for tire sales, a reception desk for check-ins, and a waiting area for customers. The service bays are equipped for various mechanical tasks, from tire mounting to brake repairs. However, the provided customer reviews strongly suggest that the internal environment, particularly regarding customer interaction, can be fraught with issues. Descriptions of rudeness, a manager giving a "hard time," and alleged intentional damage to a vehicle paint a picture of an environment where customer trust might be significantly eroded. While the physical space might be standard for an auto shop, the psychological environment, shaped by staff behavior and perceived honesty, appears to be highly inconsistent, leading to considerable customer dissatisfaction in some instances.

Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center offers a broad spectrum of **services** that cater to both tire-specific needs and general automotive maintenance and repair. Their primary services include the sale and installation of various tire brands, tire repair, balancing, and rotation. They also service Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and offer wheel and custom wheel sales. Beyond tires, their automotive repair services encompass essential maintenance such as **oil changes** (including free oil changes with the purchase of four new tires, a significant promotional point), fluid checks and replacements (antifreeze/coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid), and scheduled maintenance at various mileage intervals. They also provide comprehensive **brake service**, including brake repair and replacements, and mention a "Lifetime Brake Service" promotion. Other services include battery checks and replacements, belts and hoses inspection and replacement, minor and major mechanical repairs, shocks and struts replacement, and wheel alignment. The customer reviews, while critical, confirm the availability of services like oil changes, tire repair, and brake caliper replacement, indicating their capacity for a wide range of automotive tasks.

Several **features** are typically highlighted by Grismer Tire & Auto Service Centers, including their network of locations across Ohio, their range of services, and often the expertise of their technicians. They promote having **ASE-certified technicians**, which indicates a level of professional training and competence in various automotive repair areas. The availability of a wide selection of **name-brand tires** is a key feature, offering customers numerous choices to fit their vehicle and budget. Promotional offers like "4 FREE oil changes with a purchase of 4 new tires" are a significant feature designed to attract and retain customers. They also offer a "Grismer Credit Card" with benefits like 5% off purchases and double service warranty, demonstrating a commitment to customer loyalty programs. However, the provided customer reviews present contradictory features. While some customers experience "great and friendly service" and find staff "courteous and polite, extremely professional and efficient" at other Grismer locations, the Beavercreek location faces severe accusations. The claim of a "rude" interaction, a manager giving a "hard time," alleged "oil leaks" appearing mysteriously after service, and a tire with only "11" PSI left after a service visit are deeply concerning features. Furthermore, the allegation of "excessively torque" wheel lugs and bolts as "retribution for not agreeing to ridiculous pricing and unprofessional behavior" points to a serious breakdown in ethical practices and professional conduct at this specific location, contradicting the desired image of quality and trustworthiness.

The **promotional information** for Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center focuses on value, convenience, and quality. They widely advertise promotions such as **"4 Free Oil Changes with the purchase of 4 new tires,"** aiming to incentivize tire purchases and ongoing service. They also offer various coupons for services like coolant flushes, transmission flushes, and general vehicle repair and maintenance, with discounts like "$30 off Any Vehicle Repair and Maintenance." The "Grismer Credit Card" offers additional benefits like 5% off every purchase and a doubled service warranty, serving as a powerful customer loyalty tool. Tire rebates from major brands like Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Continental, Hankook, and Yokohama are regularly promoted, providing financial incentives for tire purchases. Online appointment scheduling is available for customer convenience. However, the promotional efforts for the Beavercreek location are severely undermined by the customer reviews provided. While the company promotes "low everyday prices" and "fast service" with "trained and friendly staff," the detailed complaints from customers suggest that these promises were not met in their experience. The allegations of overcharging for parts, deceptive practices regarding free services (the "punch card" issue), and potentially malicious actions like deflating a tire or overtightening bolts directly contradict the positive promotional messages. Therefore, while Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center, as a brand, has various promotions, potential customers for the Beavercreek location should proceed with caution, critically evaluating their options and perhaps verifying pricing and service details upfront to mitigate the risks highlighted in the negative feedback.

Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center Customer Reviews

My son purchased 4 tires back in November. With the purchase of 4 tires you get 4 free oil changes. I called on Tuesday to schedule an appointment for an oil change and spoke to JR. JR informed me that we can only get the free oil changes if we have a punch card. I explained to him that I do not recall getting one. I politely asked him if they can just pull it up with my son’s information, or mine since the car is under my name. He also opened a grismer card when he purchased the tires. Jr said very rudely that there is no way at all to see his free oil changes, and that I would have to pay. I asked to speak with a manager. He said he would have the manager Matt call me back. Matt called me back and at first gave me a hard time too. He then said they can pull up our information and there would be no issues. We scheduled the appointment for Thursday. I made sure I told Matt that I do not want JR working on my car. I arrived and Jr is who checked my car in. The manager Matt came out 30 minutes later and told me I have two oil leaks. In November the paperwork states no I leaks. They pulled my car up next to the door and said it was finished. I pulled out on Fairfield road. I made it not even a block and pulled in the gas station because my front tire seemed very low. They let the air out of my tire and the pressure was only at 11. If you make them mad they will damage your car and put you in harms way. I could have been hurt pulling out in traffic with an almost flat tire. I’m so happy it was me driving and not my son. I will be calling the better business bureau as well. DO NOT GO TO GRISMER TIRE IN Beavercreek.

This stoor is by far the worst location I have ever been forced to go to. F3iday my brake calipers seized up on the highway. Grismer was within limping distance so I dropped off. They quites me 2300 dollars, asked for breakdown was not given but he included a fluid flush oil change and a bunch of nonsense. I told him I only wanted calipers replaced. Was quoted 1300 dollars and I said that was not a reasonable price. He said it would take them until tomorrow to put back together. I had a tow truck come pickup and drop off to my house. Grimer charged me diagnostics but faimed to send them with the driver. Upon investigation into replacing calipers I found my wheel lugs, calipers slide bolts, mounting bolts were excessively torque . This stunt will cause me to torch and cut bolt off wheel and cost me well over an additional 450$ it should have cost me. I managed to break two socket wrenches and a torque bar. Will need to replace rim 5 wheel studs caps and this is obvious retribution for not agreeing to ridiculous pricing and unprofessional behavior. I am so disappointed in how Grismer on Fairfield rd in Beavercreek chose to disrespect potential customers. They should be ashamed!!!

I was having some issues with my truck (a loud noise when driving). They told me to bring it over and they would take a look. They took me out to the work area and showed me exactly what was going on and they also showed me some other things that would need to be done soon. They didn't pressure me to get any of those things done at that moment but told me eventually it will need to be taken care of. Also, they drove me home and came to pick me up when my truck was done. Who does that?!?!? That was very nice of them because most places don't do that. They did a great job and I highly recommend the guys at Grismer!

Took my car in for a high beam replacement as it’s really complicated on a Malibu. The guy who answered the phone was very customer focused, honest and came cheaper than others around because he took the time to figure out the type of bulb that’s needed. Was able to get scheduled within 2 days and in and out when getting the vehicle serviced. Will definitely be back!

Not happy. It took them 2 hours to change my front break pads. Told me it would take an hour. Which it shouldn't have took that long. I was told after taking my car back they would come tell me a price and exact time. Never did. Didn't tell me they didn't have my break pads that they had to order them and have them delivered. Can charged me almost $350 to change my front break pads. I'll never go to Grismer again. I don't even think they deserve 1 star. But it won't let me post this if I don't give a star
