Grand Rapids Transmission saved me. I had to replace the motor in my truck and they did a awesome job and very reasonable. They told me 2/3 days and it was right on time. Great customer service, kept me updated the whole time. I recommend this shop 10/10. The owner Ryan is really nice.

The guys rebuilt the burnt up transmission in my jeep wrangler in only a couple of days in the fall of 2024. It's been running and driving so well that I took my camaro to them with an old 4 speed automatic trans to them this spring as that was shifting hard and dropping out of overdrive on the highway. They ordered a new transmission, tuned it up amd installed it for a good price. It drives way better than before, can barely tell when it shifts anymore. I'd gladly take more work to them.

Subaru dealership quoted me $3500 for a new torque converter. Called these guys and they actually talked to me like they cared about my car and giving me a fair price. Saved $1000 and done in a timely manner. Very trustworthy.

They rebuilt my transmission in a timely manner. I get my car back and smell trans fluid. Take if back they spent 5 minutes or so looking at it and said no leak. Ran errands and smell nothing but trans fluid and after spending that much I should not now be afraid to drive my car that is literally why I took it to be fixed. So update after reading owner reply and not sure why he see fit to argue on Google. But the fact 1 oil and transmission fluid do not smell the same. Fact 2 if the turbo leak was the problem I would have had this smell present before you worked on my car. Fact 3 shit happens, I completely understand a line may have went in wrong and there could be a number of reasons I am smelling transmission fluid. Fact 4 treating me the way the owner did when I called and asked why and for how long my car would smell like transmission fluid straight up said probably coolant. I mean there is a big difference in those smells and there was no reason to treat me like I am a stupid female. The owner is why 2 stars, giving you did call with concerns over the 2 star rating. I mean seriously all you have to do is dive it and you will smell it. I spent alot fixing my car here because and just want to know where the transmission fluid smell is coming from. Again I do know the turbo is leaking oil. That's has nothing to do with transmission fluid. Again I did not see a reason to attack me over my review for only being honest. Thought that's what you wanted.
