We had a breakdown on a long road trip in July and someone at the gas station pointed us to this place, while we wondered where we could get a room for the night (or more). The owner wasn't in but the fellow working there got under our car on a sweltering hot day, diagnosed the problem--broken power steering belt--and explained our options and how I could replace the belt myself (not easy but doable). We decided to just drive the rest of the way to St. Louis without power steering and he refused to accept payment (but we insisted on something). Very friendly and honest gentleman--thank you!

These guys SAVED our life! We were traveling from Texas to North Carolina when my alternator went out! We were very fortunate that it happened right at an exit that had a Quaility Inn (as it was 10pm something at night). Next morning, we give these guys a call, they showed up w/in 20 minutes, took the battery out to take to their shop to charge it enough to get the vehicle to their shop to replace the alternator. By 2 pm we were one the road again! Not happy that this happened, but it could not have happened in a better spot! They rocked it!!

I was traveling on Interstate 40 from Nashville to Knoxville when my car broke down at the Carthage exit 258. I have two small children, and we were stranded. I called Gordonsville Motors so see if they could help me. They came and got me after 5 pm on a Wednesday. Had me and my children on the road in a few hours. I am thankful for the workers here who got me out of a tough spot and in a hurry. They were compassionate about my situation, knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention the price was affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone. We all know in today's time breaking down in an unfamiliar place, and with children can be a scary situation. I am thankful we found this company to help us.

I travel from MO to NC (and vece verse) on I-40 a lot and usually stop in gordonsville for gas. Before the exit I heard a LOUD noise and stopped at the pilot gas. The owner of gordonsville Motor co just happened to be at the next pump and saw I was loosing oil all under my car. He gave me his info and I did have other choices but everything happens for a reason. I feel I was very lucky as he took care of my car on a Sunday (had it towed saturday evening). Honest and very helpful. Reasonable pricing. I was grateful for all they did.
