AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! PAID THESE CROOKS TO FIX MY CAR TWICE THEY CHARGED SAME AS THE DEALERSHIP AND GAVE MY CAR BACK WITH MORE PROBLEMS THEN I GAVE IT TO THEM WITH. THEY WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY & FORCED ME TO TAKE DOWN A BAD REVIEW BEFORE THEY AGREED TO FIX MY CAR! DONT EVER GO HERE THEY WILL MILK YOU FOR YOUR MONEY & GET MAD WHEN YOU CALL THEIR BS OUT!

10 out of 10 would recommend coming to this mechanic. They're very friendly knowledgeable and the prices are fantastic! Has both of my vehicles breaks done and got the vehicles back within 2 and 1/2 hours. I live in Cleveland quite a distance away from the shop but I will always make the drive out there as I know the work will be done right the first time.

Vince & Ben (owners) both were very knowledgeable about what my car needed. I mostly appericated how they spoke to me about the work needing done in a manner I could understand. They even went the extra mile to recommend which order I should get the work done, so it was affordable and safe to drive still!! I was impressed with how quickly my car was fixed too!! 100% TRUST worthy men hands down!!! I will stay loyal to Gilchrist Auto from here out and HIGHLY recommend this business!!!

Ben the owner of gilchrist auto has been working on my car and truck for about three years . He first fixed my truck an old ranger .,my brake line went out . He’s very knowledgeable does not replace parts you don’t need . His diagnosing skills are excellent .if he says something’s wrong then it is .I’m older and have had many cars n mechanics . He knows his stuff .my lead springs. Shackles on the back of the truck were bad . I was looking at 300 each for those .he found good used ones for a fraction of that . The truck doesn’t clank or give me a bit of trouble since he fixed it . And he was reasonable ., then I ran over a curve with my Kia that sits low to the ground it took out my radiator fan condenser and other things plus the brace that holds all of this equipment .body shops said it would be very expensive .he fixed the car for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere .he got it done fast too . Last year my frame went out on my 2007 Ford Focus ..he insisted I not drive it as it could cause an accident he even took pictures of the break to prove it .others offered me a couple hundred for the car as scrap Ben made sure I got the most for scrapping it by referring me to wise towing I got 500 . He’s watched out for me more than once . His public relations skills aren’t always the best . I had to borrow money to get the Kia fixed . The borrower insisted I take the car to his garage to have a second opinion . Ben got mad and told me to move the car from the lot . It had sat there for a few days . This was uncalled for but I’m the end I told the person lending me the money I trusted Ben and Vince to fix the car right and they did
