Literally have nothing but great things to say about this place. This was the first time I’ve ever got my car repaired due to an accident and Corey at Gerber collision made it nothing but a smooth and easy process. The whole process went over schedule for about five days because we had a couple snags with sourcing the parts, but Corey at Gerber collision called me every step of the way even if I did not answer, he would leave me detailed voicemails letting me know exactly what is going on When the car was ready for pick up. I told Corey that my school schedule might interfere with me having to pick up the vehicle he offered personally to come pick me up or to stay after that way I could pick up the vehicle. They treated me like family here at this facility and I would recommend them 100% when I did pick up my vehicle, I noticed that the air conditioning was not working. It was blowing, but it was not blowing cold. Corey told me no problem at all bring it in. I dropped it off in the morning and four hours later he called me saying that he personally checked and everything is working just fine thank you everybody at Gerber collision for your hard work and restoring my vehicle back to its factory self

TLDR: outlandish quote, asinine suprise fees, poor/rude customer service. My car was brought to the shop after an accident, my insurance picked it I didn’t get to choose. They gave my insurance company such a large outlandish quote that they decided it was better to total the car rather than do repairs. I’m entitled by my insurance to get a second opinion (they even reimburse you for towing to another shop so it’s encouraged) so I called Gerber and told them I was going to have the car towed from their shop to another autobody shop. When I called them, they said “OK no problem” and that was it, they said nothing else. I called a tow company, PAID them, and they show up at Gerber, only to be told, they can’t take the car. The reason? I apparently owe them an over $200 “disassembly fee.” Apparently, when they were assessing the damage, they took my car apart and they wanted to charge ME for that, and they wouldn’t let the car be towed until it was paid. The lady on the phone didn’t tell me this when I called, which would have been nice to know, and when I asked why she didn’t tell me she ignored me and didn’t answer. So to recap they took my car apart (making the damage worse) to “assess” it, gave me a random surprise fee, and were rude when I asked why I wasn’t informed of the fee. Horrible company, avoid at all cost.

BEFORE I START , they decided to go through with repairs without me signing anything(claimed they would send paperwork before starting and didn't). a day later i wanted my car back, due to a issue with my insurance and they refused to, saying they already started. THE DASHBOARD WAS COMPLETELY COVERED IN DIRT(they didn't care for it at all) AND PEALING ON THE DASHBOARD DUE FROM BEING IN THE SUN NOT COVERED(EVEN THO I HAD A SUN COVER IN THE CAR) , The service I received was deeply unsatisfactory. It took over a month to get my car back, only to find it was not properly repaired and a new issue had arisen: the car door wouldn't open(it was working before they had it, i opened the door to let the toe truck person in) . The service provider also claimed they fixed the glass, but it was still cracked EXACTLY THE SAME. This entire experience left me questioning their competence and honesty.
