Don't waste your money and time. I dropped off my car for a small mechanical issue. I received it after 6 days, the paperwork said 6.9 labor hours, and they added 75 miles to it. Plus a big spot of glue on the steering wheel, when I asked them to remove that glue spot, they couldn't, and the technician said that he ordered a new steering wheel, and they would call me when it arrived. I've been waiting for that call for two weeks. No transparency,

Beautiful work on my Honda and this place was very accommodating to my needs and made it easy to get back in my car with less steps by them delivering my car to the rental place. Outstanding group of people to work with!!! Very satisfied!!

I’m not the one to do reviews but this is a place who deserves it!! If you EVERRR need body work done Gerber Collision and Glass IS YOUR GO TO!! They not only gave me an update on my SUV every step of the way but they are the nicest group I have ever been to! (Lance is the greatest!) They did an AMAZING job to the point you can’t even tell someone hit me. I went to a body shop when I hit a deer long ago and it was a horrible experience, Gerber blew it out of the water! I will forever recommend them.

This is absolutely the worst company I’ve ever interacted with, for any service. Was recommended here by my insurance company. They quote you a period of time for repair and then tack on an addition 4-6 weeks- for minor body repair and no structural problem. When they returned my vehicle it had a damaged back-up camera. They told me they would fix it approximately 1 week later. After calling several times over the next month because they never updated me, they “magically” got the piece they needed. Instead of scheduling a time to fix this, they recommended I come by one morning. As you’d guess they then requested another time. Once I came back at an additional time they could not fix it and needed to send it off to the dealership to get it fixed correctly…all while putting me back in a rental car. A fix that should have taken 3-4 weeks to complete has now been dragged out over 9 weeks and still not completed. Please never take your car here ever! I never post reviews but this place is sooooo bad I have to post something

STAY AWAY!!! I was assigned to the Powell Gerber collision to repair my car following a minor accident. First it took longer than expected, in addition the person taking care of my claim was never there when I called. I was finally notified that my car was ready on 1/31, I was at work, 30 minutes away from the shop, I asked if I could pick up the car the next day, there was an hesitation on his part leading me to believe that I was expected to get the car the same day. I left work and got my car. The next day I noticed the inner handle cover on the door was missing exposing the screws (pic attached). I notified Gerber on 2/2, I was asked to bring the car in for pictures. I did so within 30 mns, afterwards I was told me that the part will be ordered and I will be notified when to bring the car back to put it in place. Never heard from them, no update was provided, I called them on 2/8, was told someone will get back to me. Nothing!!! I finally heard from them after reaching out to my insurance agent. We were told that the repair guy left the handle inside the glove compartment. I was curious as to why it would be there and not on the door but I found out the answer. One of the snaps are broken (pic attached). I have decided to order and pay for the part and find someone to put it in. No way I am dealing with them again. Please go somewhere else and not to the Powell location.

I recently got into a moderate accident hitting a deer, and Gerber was the first place that had availability to take my vehicle. I took it there the day after the accident and the technician immediately came out to evaluate the car. She took notes and let me know of the repairs she could visibly see. The front desk went through all the paperwork with me and told me they would handle the rest! They did all of the internal communication with my insurance company and I didn't have to do a thing! Throughout the entire process, they kept me informed and again, I didn't have to communicate with the insurance company or rental car company at all. They handled all of that for me. My car was in the shop for over two months but not at fault of Gerber. Unfortunately the parts needed for my vehicle were on backorder for quite some time but, once Gerber got all the parts they needed, they finished the repair really quickly. They kept me informed and support me with some of the troubles I ran through. I ended up hitting the limit on the insurance rental car policy and Gerber did all they good to make sure I was taken care of and wasn't without a car. I was very impressed with my overall experience and my car looks good as new. I would recommend Gerber to anyone. If you run into any troubles, give them a call and ask to speak to the manager, Vince! He was SO helpful during the process and did all he could to assist. 10/10 experience. Thank you Gerber!

I just picked up my SUV from Gerber Collision and Glass on Olentangy Rd in Powell. They did an AWESOME job! They even cleaned my interior windows and console. Vince is the new manager since the Winter of 2024. He brought a team of experienced guys, including a trusted painter with over 25 years' experience! The previous team was a nightmare! I had been going to Gerbers for 20 years and never had a problem until about a year ago, when I took it to the former management. The Lexus I drive has a white pearlized paint, which is a bit tricky to handle. They had a new guy painting who messed it up no less than 4 times! Each time it was a different problem, first it was a hair in the paint, then the tape pulled the paint off, etc., etc., it took WEEKS to get it back and it stil wasn't right. The new manager, Vince, an experienced manager, knew what had to be done. He had to correct some mistakes made on the front end, caused by the previous team, and got it done beautifully in a WEEK! If you had a bad experience before winter of 2024, try Gerbers again! I promise, you will be thrilled with the results!
