Let me start by saying you are NOT going to find another person as passionate and as knowledgeable about vehicles then Dan. He’s taking my vehicle and done a complete inspection repaired multiple issues, and suggested some amazing additions. I could not be happier. Dan has really done an amazing job! “ I will be back “ and it might sound crazy but I look forward to it! But in all seriousness, if you have any type of vehicle issue, don’t hesitate to call and believe it will be worth the wait if any.

Take a look at the silver X5 below. Looks nice, right? WRONG. It is cursed by the Lord Satan himself. The only reason it is not slowly grinding itself into the 9-Hells is Dan and the gang at GEAR are fighting it tooth and nail. Dan has managed to sluice out every squeak, rattle and moan this 12 year old Bavarian nightmare makes. I am happy to report that currently the beast is idle after Dan has spent many hours(hours at half the price of the BMW dealership) replacing nuts, bolts and bearings. This shop is great. It is a real throw back to how car repair places used to be. Dan gives you a price and if that price is going to go up he lets you know before things get to deep. 5 Stars, everyone be more like Dan.

Last week my daughter had an issue with her Volvo and the repair shop recommended she take it to Dan to check it out. She called and he told to bring it right in. When we arrived he immediately took a look and was able to fix the issue within ten minutes. He is so kind to her - he didn’t even charge her for his time. It’s obvious he knows his way around a car. I would highly recommend Gerber’s for your car repair.

Dan is the best! Only mechanic I know that will drop everything to make sure you are OK. He's a good man, trust worthy and very fair. We need more guys like Dan!

Not to thrilled w my experience. Kept my car almost two weeks and did not find the problem. Pretty much said he would do a guessing game. Took my car to mags motors and the problem was addressed and I only paid for one hour diagnostic that didn’t even match what Dan said it was. Dan came highly recommended but all he did was take my money and not tell me what was wrong w my car. He originally told me 170 for diagnostic. But when I wanted my car back he said 700!!! But didn’t know why I was having a battery draw. He broke my radiator fan and told someone else but not the person that was paying him. Dan you taught me a valuable lesson. Get it in writing! Dont let anyone touch your car with out paperwork. This mechanic doesn’t honor his word.
