I cannot express in the space that I have in this review how appreciative I am for the excellent service that I received from Garrett's garage !!! Thank you Garrett you were a lifesaver. You immediately diagnosed my problem within 10 minutes. You did the prep work overnight for the repair so that as soon as the parts arrived I could return home as soon as possible from my vacation. You made a very painful experience, the breakdown of my vehicle, a painless one. I would highly recommend your service to anyone in the Newark or surrounding area.

Came in from out of town for school and my truck started acting up. Garret scanned it and there were several codes . He straight up said I don't want to throw a whole bunch of parts at it for no reason. Take it to a dealer and see if it needs software update if not bring back and I'll dive into it. Can't ask for a better mechanic then that. Top notch 👌

Garret is very knowledgeable and good at what he does also very fair on price he did my brakes for one third of the price of the cheapest ship I could find and they work perfectly I highly recommend him to anyone who needs good work from an honest mechanic with great skills

I was calling around everywhere the day after the Fourth of July (I had forgotten to call anywhere earlier in the week) He was the first person to call me back same day AND get my car in for FREE diagnostics also on the same day!! I needed not only a new tie rod but I had bent one of my struts! While he gave me the choice to only fix what was broken (after giving me estimates) he said the mechanic in him would just replace both tie rods and rotors/brakes (One of my rotors had some grooves in it) just to be safe and not worry about it breaking on me anytime soon!! (These are things my dad would tell me, he is a mechanic too for the record but due to some medical issues he is unable to work on anything at this time!) TLDR; Garrett is a really chill guy and his prices are affordable! I don’t trust anyone to really work on my car aside from my dad and Garrett reminded me a lot of him which is a gold star in my book! He also explains things really well and takes pictures of things so you can see whats wrong! I HIGHLY recommend going to him for any auto services! He just cant do alignments!!

10/10 Best service I have ever received!!! Garrett was able to get my mother's car serviced immediately and didn't hesitate that it had been a late Friday evening! I called him after 5pm and he immediately had me bring my mother's car in and was able to replace the brake pads and rotors in a very timely manner! Thank you Soo much for the wonderful service!!!!

Only leaving this here because I don’t accept an cringy shop that screws my friends or family. Over a year…on a classic truck with nearly nothing completed. Original parts broken due to mishandling. (Aka throwing them senselessly into the cab). The part that does bother me more aside from taking money and doing nothing..is the fact brand new primed panels and skins were tossed into the bed of the truck on top of eachother..no coverings, nothing to protect. So guess what? Now more time and money has to be invested to repair dings and scratches from them rubbing and hitting eachother. Busting other parts in the engine bay without taking accountability or resolving the issue. Terrible business practices. I sure hope he gives back every penny and then some for breaking parts wasting over a year etc..

We had a big mishap with my vehicle when my dog got out of our house... I jumped out of my vehicle to go get my dog, not thinking clearly and silly me forgot to put it in park.. 💀 Long story short, my drivers door and my side entry door to my house got caught on each other and my car door was very much bent off its hinges. HE FIXED IT THAT VERY NIGHT NO PROBLEM! Definitely will be returning to get that door replaced, but HEY! At least it shuts 😊🙏 Thanks again for your amazing work!

I contacted Garrett on Sunday morning because I was badly in need of brakes and rotors all around. He was able to fit me in that day and even had my vehicle ready that night! I never expected such amazing fast service and a great personality to boot! (Despite someone's review 👀) My vehicle actually drives better now than when I bought it. (used)

He's a terrible mechanic and his personality sucks. He doesnt treat people with special needs right. He told me my vehicle would be done by the weekend... come Monday he tells me "today or tomorrow". My mom called for JUST AN UPDATE because I forgot to tell her and I have special needs so it's hard for me to keep up on certain things. So my mom calls and he gets an attitude and says she's calling him a liar when all she wanted was an update and he hung up on her. She didnt imply anything like he told me she did. She only asked a question. This dude talked down to me and caught a whole attitude saying the customer isn't always right over here. I just wanted an update. There was nothing about being right or wrong, so now he refuses to work on the car. Which at this point I'm glad. I don't trust those hands on my vehicle. There seriously was no problem. We wanted an update after being told different things. He just got a whole attitude and created one. After he said it'd be done by the weekend. So technically that does make you a liar when you say one day and 4 days later it's still not done. I get you have a life and other cars but you said it be done and the way you blew things out of proportion over a simple update question says a lot about you. Get your anger issues in check. Take it out on the car you're working on. Not someone with special needs. You're a jerk for that.
