Welcome to Front Street Automotive, your local auto repair station situated at 106 E Front St, Morehouse, MO 63868, USA. Serving the Morehouse community and surrounding areas, Front Street Automotive can be reached at (573) 703-4392 or their mobile number +1 573-703-4392. As a part of the Auto Repair Stations category, Front Street Automotive aims to provide essential services for maintaining and repairing vehicles in the region.

Front Street Automotive operates as a local mechanic shop, offering services that typically fall under the umbrella of auto repair. This includes diagnostics, general repairs, and potentially routine maintenance to keep vehicles running smoothly. The reviews available online offer contrasting perspectives on the services provided, highlighting both exceptional instances of customer care and significant concerns regarding the quality of specific repairs.

One customer shared a remarkable experience, detailing how Front Street Automotive went above and beyond to assist them in an emergency situation. This out-of-state traveler encountered a problem with their Nissan Altima on a Sunday afternoon, with the vehicle's speed limited to 60 mph. Facing the prospect of an overnight stay and uncertainty about finding a repair shop open on a Sunday, they contacted Front Street Automotive. The response was prompt and exceptionally accommodating. The mechanics reportedly opened their shop within ten minutes of the call, diagnosed the issue using a portable computer, reprogrammed the car, and resolved the problem swiftly. The customer was able to test drive the vehicle and found it to be running like new. The charge for this comprehensive service, performed on a Sunday in hot weather, was an incredibly reasonable $20. This review paints a picture of experienced, dedicated, caring, and honest mechanics willing to go the extra mile for their customers, especially in unexpected situations.

However, another customer reported a significantly negative experience. This review detailed a ball joint replacement on a truck that took two days to complete. The customer alleged that during the repair, the shaft was pulled out, requiring new seals, which the customer had recently installed. According to the review, these new seals were not replaced, and the old ones were left hanging out. Furthermore, the customer claimed that the hub cap was not reinstalled and that only one brake bolt was put back in place, necessitating the purchase of a new rim due to rubbing caused by the improper repair. This highly critical review labeled the shop a "joke" and expressed extreme dissatisfaction, with the customer stating they would never return and would not even trust them with a lawn mower. This starkly contrasts with the positive experience and raises serious concerns about the consistency and quality of the repairs performed.

Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively describe the typical environment, services, and features of Front Street Automotive. The positive review suggests a shop equipped with diagnostic tools and staffed by knowledgeable mechanics capable of efficiently addressing electronic issues. The willingness to open the shop on a Sunday indicates a potential for flexibility and commitment to customer needs, especially in emergencies. The negative review, however, implies potential issues with thoroughness, attention to detail, and the competence of the mechanics in handling certain types of repairs, particularly those involving mechanical components like ball joints and seals.

The environment of Front Street Automotive, based on the provided information, is somewhat clarified by the "Quick Note" in the positive review. It mentions that Google Maps may lead customers to an incorrect location one block away, characterized by blue doors. The correct location, according to the reviewer, is one block away from this incorrect spot and is situated in front of a large water tank, with a green door. This information is crucial for local users trying to find the physical location of the shop.

In terms of services, based on the two reviews, Front Street Automotive appears to offer diagnostic services, electronic reprogramming, and mechanical repairs such as ball joint replacements. The positive review highlights their ability to quickly diagnose and fix electronic issues, while the negative review details a more complex mechanical repair with allegedly unsatisfactory results. It is likely that they offer a range of standard auto repair services, but the quality and outcome may vary depending on the specific issue and the mechanic working on the vehicle. Potential customers might inquire about the specific expertise of their mechanics for the type of repair needed.

Features of Front Street Automotive that can be inferred from the reviews include the availability of diagnostic equipment and a willingness to provide emergency service outside of regular hours. The positive review also suggests a level of experience and dedication among at least some of the mechanics. However, the negative review raises concerns about the quality control processes and the skill level for certain mechanical tasks. It is important for potential customers to weigh these contrasting experiences when considering Front Street Automotive for their repair needs.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided text. Local users interested in Front Street Automotive may want to contact them directly to inquire about their services, pricing, and any potential specials or warranties they might offer. Given the mixed reviews, it might be prudent to ask detailed questions about the repair process and the experience of the mechanic who will be working on their vehicle. Visiting the shop in person to assess the environment and speak with the staff could also provide valuable insights.

In conclusion, Front Street Automotive in Morehouse, MO, presents a complex picture based on the limited online reviews. While one customer lauded their exceptional service in an emergency, highlighting their speed, expertise, and fair pricing, another reported a highly negative experience with a mechanical repair, citing issues with workmanship and attention to detail. Local users considering Front Street Automotive should be aware of these contrasting experiences. The shop is located at 106 E Front St, Morehouse, MO, noting the correct location is near a large water tank with a green door, one block away from the location Google Maps might indicate (blue doors). It is recommended that potential customers contact the shop directly to discuss their specific needs and make an informed decision based on their own assessment and the available feedback.

Front street automotive Customer Reviews

I had a great experience having my Nissan Altima fixed at Front Street Automotive. I was driving from out of state and noticed my car is acting strange and the speed does not exceed 60 miles/hour. This happened to me on Sunday afternoon in the heat of summer. I was expecting that I will have to stay over at night in a hotel, then on Monday try to find a place to fix it. I called Front Street and told them my car story. They came and open their shop for me in like 10 min. Next connected their portable computer to my car...identified the issue.. reprogrammed my car and had it fixed... I did a test drive and my car was like new... They charged me $20 for all the troubles I gave them (Come to the shop on Sunday at above 100 F and fixing my car). In summary an experienced, dedicated, caring and honest mechanic saved my trip ! Quick Note: Unfortunately, Google map takes you to an address that is one block away from the mechanic place. (See the image with the blue doors). The correct location is one block away and is in front of a huge water tank (you will see the water tank from the place Google takes you ) I'm attaching the image of correct location (door in green ) and the location that Google map took me (door in blue).
