Friendly Ford Service & Parts Introduce
Friendly Ford Service & Parts, located at 2800 N Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48162, USA, and reachable by phone at (734) 590-5804 or +1 734-590-5804, operates as a dealership-affiliated auto repair station. As part of a larger automotive dealership, it provides a range of services and goods primarily for Ford and Lincoln vehicles, aligning with the brand's specifications and warranty requirements.
The environment at a large dealership service center like Friendly Ford Service & Parts typically includes a spacious waiting area, often equipped with amenities for customer comfort, such as seating, Wi-Fi, and sometimes refreshments. The service bays are generally extensive, housing specialized tools and diagnostic equipment designed specifically for Ford and Lincoln vehicles. These facilities often feature multiple service lifts, tire-changing equipment, and dedicated areas for different types of repairs, from routine maintenance to complex engine work. As a dealership, the environment is usually structured to handle a high volume of vehicles, with processes for check-in, service recommendations, and vehicle delivery. While the intent is to provide a professional and efficient setting, recent customer feedback suggests that the actual customer experience within this environment can vary significantly. One review indicates a potentially crowded waiting area with multiple customers experiencing issues, which could point to challenges in managing service volume or customer expectations effectively.
Friendly Ford Service & Parts, as an authorized dealership service center, offers a comprehensive suite of services and goods tailored for Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Their primary offerings include:
- Manufacturer Recalls: A key service provided by dealerships, addressing specific safety or defect-related recalls issued by Ford or Lincoln.
- General Vehicle Repairs: Addressing a wide array of mechanical issues that Ford and Lincoln vehicles may encounter.
- Routine Maintenance: Services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and multi-point inspections essential for vehicle longevity.
- Diagnostics: Utilizing specialized Ford/Lincoln diagnostic tools to accurately identify complex vehicle problems.
- Parts Sales: The "Parts" in their name indicates a dedicated department for selling genuine Ford and Lincoln parts, which are designed to meet manufacturer specifications. This includes a variety of components from engine parts to accessories and even specific items like vehicle rims.
The features of Friendly Ford Service & Parts align with those expected from a large dealership. These typically include access to factory-trained technicians who are specialized in Ford and Lincoln models, ensuring a high level of expertise specific to these brands. They also have access to genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, which are designed to fit and function perfectly with Ford and Lincoln vehicles, often coming with a manufacturer's warranty. The ability to handle warranty work and manufacturer recalls is a significant feature, as these can only be performed by authorized dealerships. Dealerships often have sophisticated diagnostic equipment that can precisely identify issues unique to their vehicle lines. Furthermore, they may offer amenities like rental car setup, as hinted by a review, or a shuttle service for customer convenience. However, customer reviews also shed light on some challenging features of the service experience. One customer reported a prolonged waiting period of "2 weeks of waiting" for repairs, suggesting potential issues with service turnaround times or parts availability. The mention of a damaged front bumper during a car wash and the refusal to take responsibility highlights a critical customer service feature or, rather, a lack thereof, concerning accountability for damages incurred during service. The reported difficulties in communication and the perceived unfriendliness of some service staff ("Every guy in the service area were absolute POS, learn how to speak to customers") indicate significant issues with customer interaction and professionalism, which are critical features for a service business. The inability to match competitor pricing for parts, as experienced by another customer, suggests a rigid pricing policy that may not always be customer-friendly, despite the advantage of offering genuine parts.
Regarding promotional information, dealerships like Friendly Ford Service & Parts often engage in various marketing activities. These can include advertisements for service specials, maintenance packages, and promotions on specific parts or accessories. They may also highlight their certified technicians, genuine parts, and the convenience of one-stop shopping for sales, service, and parts. However, the provided customer reviews offer a different perspective on their promotional effectiveness and customer perception. The negative experiences, such as a faulty part, prolonged wait times, alleged damage to a vehicle during service, and unhelpful customer service interactions, directly contradict any positive promotional messaging a dealership might try to convey. The customer's strong declaration of "Never going back to this place. 0 stars on my service there" effectively nullifies any promotional efforts. While they might promote their ability to handle recalls or use genuine parts, these benefits are overshadowed by the reported issues with execution, accountability, and customer treatment. The perception of unfair pricing ("doesn't make sense") also works against their promotional efforts to be a competitive service provider. For local users, the information from these reviews serves as critical "promotional" data, guiding their decision-making process more powerfully than any official advertisement.
In conclusion, Friendly Ford Service & Parts in Monroe, MI, functions as an authorized dealership service center providing a range of repairs, maintenance, and genuine parts for Ford and Lincoln vehicles. While it offers standard dealership features like factory-trained technicians and OEM parts, recent customer experiences highlight significant challenges regarding service quality, transparency, accountability for damages, and overall customer service. These negative accounts, including issues with faulty repairs, extended wait times, alleged vehicle damage during service, and perceived unprofessionalism from staff, contradict the expectation of a "friendly" experience. For local users considering this location, it is important to weigh the benefits of dealership-specific services and genuine parts against the reported inconsistencies in service delivery and customer interaction, which appear to impact overall satisfaction and trust.

Friendly Ford Service & Parts Customer Reviews
I can barely give this dealer 1 star. I took my Lincoln in for my recalls, and they gave me a faulty part so the problem they needed to fix, they had to re fix which I was okay with. But they took my car in for a car wash, which in the previous times I have brought this car in they have never done. And they broke my front bumper and tells me I cannot do anything about it. I have to file a claim with my own insurance and I can promise you I will never be back to get it fixed. Every guy in the service area were absolute POS, learn how to speak to customers. the other customers in the waiting area were also having their own problems which there were about 7 of us waiting. One guy had problems with his batter and had waited about 2 hours and came to this friendly cord 4 times for the same issue they will not fix. thank goodness my car is out of there after 2 weeks of waiting. Never going back to this place. 0 stars on my service there.

I really tried with parts department. Found the rims I wanted but found them 400 cheaper at a dealership in new York. So called friendly Ford to see if they could match price and they said no, because bigger dealerships gets better prices. To me this doesn't make sense.

Bought a truck from them a few years ago. Took it in for service work that was under warranty. A month later went to change out my wheels on the truck and had to use a 4ft breaker bar on 10 of the lugs and then had to torch/melt 3 others. How to properly torque wheels is day one stuff and this is happening at a dealership?!?!?

You need an appointment for service but then you get good but expensive service. But they had the part I needed and no other parts stores had it.
