I know next to nothing about cars. It's pretty obvious as soon as I open my mouth. The best part is my wife knows even less and looks to me to maintain her car. That's why every time I visit an auto repair shop it's with a heavy heart and always leave with a much lighter wallet. Enter Ralph. I ran over a small screw and instead of going to Firestone (because I don't know any better), and this time I went to Ralph since he's only a few blocks away. Turns out the screw didn't even puncture my practically bald tire. He took it out, didn't charge me a cent, and sent me on my way. Coincidentally I had a bunch of repair that needed to get done on my car; I had been putting it off because I just hadn't had the time. I had a good feeling about Ralph's place so I dropped my car off and had a ton of work done. The entire brake system and front suspension links. He also troubleshooted my AC. Didn't even charge me for a tire replacement or taking a look at my AC which turned out to need some freon. The prices were very fair. This is the first time I've been to a car repair shop where I didn't feel like I was ripped off. Ralph you have a customer for life. I'll be bringing my and my wife's car to you from now on, and will be referring you to my friends and family.

Read the other reviews. They are true. An honest Mechanic. Saved my son thousands of dollars by telling him to check to see it his problem is under warranty. Which it was. Great work. We highly recommend this place. I myself have been coming here for years.

I have lived just a few houses away from this shop for 8 years; not once have I been able to actually use their services. The first time I needed help, I had an emergency; a flat tire while leaving my house. They were open; I walked over; explained the urgency; and they still refused, saying I needed an appointment. A flat tire emergency. A few days ago, I needed a simple front tire balancing. I spoke directly to the main mechanic; he told me they do tire balancing but would not do mine. Same excuse; I needed an appointment and they were booked a week out. It is crazy that a shop located right here in the Bronx, surrounded by places that will patch a tire or balance one in 10 minutes, acts like they are too busy or too important for walk-ins; even for easy jobs. The impression they leave is they just do not want to work; they make everything harder than it should be. Businesses that treat new or local customers like they are a burden usually do not stay around too long. Good luck with that.

I took my Pathfinder in earlier this week for a quick service and was pleasantly impressed with the quality and speed of their work. Great customer service and welcoming vibe. I will definitely be back! Keep up the great work.
