I was told to bring my truck in at 8 AM for a single tire change and to correct an installation mistake they made the last time I was there. When I arrived, I was told my appointment was actually scheduled for 12 PM and that it would “take a while” to get to my truck. Annoying, but okay. Five hours went by with no update. Every time I called, I was told, “We’re getting to it next.” At 5 PM, I finally got a call—not to say the tire was done, but to inform me they had completed a comprehensive inspection I never asked for. They proceeded to list a bunch of issues that had nothing to do with the reason I brought the truck in. I asked what a specific test result meant, and the person on the phone said, “It’s technically my job to know this, but I don’t know—and the tech already went home.” I asked if my tire was at least changed. The answer: no. My fiancée and I were furious and asked to speak with the manager—who had also left for the day. We asked for accountability and an explanation as to why our truck had been sitting there for nearly 12 hours with zero updates unless we called. The person said the car ahead of mine had given the tech trouble, which caused the delay. I asked to just get my truck back, and he told me he couldn’t release the keys unless I paid the inspection fee—for the inspection I never agreed to. We said no, and he hung up on us. As I was driving over, he called back and said we could pick up the truck at no charge. When we arrived, I confronted him about the experience and told him this is no way to do business. He denied everything and refused to take responsibility. Childish, immature, and rude service. There are far better options for car care in the area. Go somewhere else. Oh, and when they tried to fix the issue they caused in the first place, it didn’t get done because I don’t know why because the guy I was speaking to didn’t seem to know much of anything.

Pulled up on Friday evening with low tires. I was with my mom who can't be left alone so I couldn't get out and tried to waive 3 attendants to me. I was ignored for over 10 minutes by the mechanics because it was time to go home. Horrible customer service! Then I called in and they kept me on hold for over 5 minutes and then never came back. They just lost a long time customer.

The time is long overdue for me to publicly say THANK YOU to the store manager Joe McCoig for his OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe McCoig at FIRESTONE ALLEN PARK in 2020 after suffering many years of abuse from Belle Tire Lincoln Park such as but not limited to Predatory Sales Practices, Substandard work and LAME EXCUSES often making me wait days for a simple tire repair even though I paid large sums of money for road hazard insurance [image being a permanently disabled Veteran with only one source of transportation]! Joe McCoig HAS NEVER attempted to sell me anything that I DID NOT NEED and has never told me that in fact I needed something such as the BEST BATTERY OR TIRES that he could sell me. Accept the fact that properly maintaining cars can be expensive all the while understanding that it is a lot cheaper than a new car payment and along with the priceless peace of mind that you are not going to find yourself broken down on the side of the road in the middle of no where during bad weather without any help in site! Joe you will have the loyalty of a Honorably Discharged Veteran for the rest of my life and my personal recommendation to all my Brother Masons, family, friends and fellow veterans! THANKS AGAIN
