The Brake Shop of Taylor Customer Reviews

I have been to the Brake Shop a lot. They always do great work. A lot of shops will run up the bill on you, THE Brake Shop will fix work is wrong with your car and not try to fix something because the owners manual recommend. I went to one shop for exhaust repair (belle tire) they gave me a bill for 3000 dollars, I declined the work took it to another shop got the muffler for 300 dollars. So be aware there are some very dishonest people people out there

This is the worst place to get your brakes done at I have a 1963 Buick skylark and I have paid over $2500 for. Whole new brake system and they did not bleed my brakes at all cause the hoses all had old corroded brake fluid in to they did not change any of the hoses at all they put the brakes shoes on the car but they didn’t connect any of the hardware on it plus I have Dayton wheels which they put all the adapters on wrong which I could of killed my myself by driving this vehicle I was able to turn the bullet piece by hand because they didn’t take the time to tighten it up this place is a complete rip off

The dealership told me I needed brakes even though they were not making any noise. So I brought my car to The Brake Shop to see what was really going on. They checked and told me I didn't need anything. Brakes and rotors are fine. I still have 60% left on front brakes and 50% left on the rear. I am so happy. Plus I am grateful to have found and honest place to take my car. I avidly recommend this business. It is hard to find honest people these days. Shout out to Sheree the receptionist, she was so helpful and sweet. Plus she dropped me off and picked me back up while they went over the car. I don't know if they usually do that but I really appreciated it.
